A Honeymoon Cruise! - Disney Magic Eastern Cruise - Feb. 14-21, 2009

"Palo Brunch!!!!" That's the first thought I had that morning. I had heard such great things about brunch and was very excited for it!!!

We ordered a very light breakfast from room service to hold us over, showered and got ready. Then, it was off to Palo!

We were seated,

then given a tour of the different food tables and the food options available to order. Our server was amazing! Don't know how to spell her name...I think it's Oana.

After our MANY courses (we were at Palo for almost 3 hours !!!) our server came over with this

It was a great way to end brunch!

After brunch we needed some time to digest all the DELICIOUS food. So we went back to our room to change into more comfortable clothes and sat by the pool for a while.

Then it was tasting time. DH was going to go to the beer tasting and we were both going to the Margarita/Tequila one.

Beer Tasting

DH did not really enjoy this tasting because he felt it was overpriced for the quality and the amount of beer. It also didn't help that it was the first time this CM was giving this presentation, as it was rather slow and not too fun. DH said he'll just skip this next time and pay for a full sized drink instead.

Next was the Margarita/Tequila tasting. I've never really had a good experience with tequila and was happy I had a full stomach from Palo earlier to absorb the alcohol!

After we tasted the 3 tequilas, they brought out the Margaritas

I had to get a different flavor margarita because I'm allergic to strawberries.

DH was then chosen to try this Corona and tequila concoction

He enjoyed it!

Overall the tasting was an informative experience but I could not finish either margarita after having the 3 different tequilas......maybe next time!

By the end of this I was in much need of some fresh air so it was up to the Quiet Cove Cafe!

Palo looks amazing! I hope we are able to get a meal there on our cruise as well. The buffet is so pretty!

I love the pic of you all lounged out at the Quiet Cove Cafe. THAT is what vacation is all about!

This is a fantastic review! Thank you very much for finding the time to post. We had our honeymoon cruise with Carnival about 6 years ago and nothing will ever compare. Your thread brings back a lot of great memories! We never take enough pictures.
