These days it seems that insults have become more and more common. Yet at the same time I've seen some pretty clever responses My personal favorite is saying some random happy phrase to confuse them, which ends up making them more annoyed so more insults usually follow! Oh the joys of being odd. So how do you respond?

I was talking to a friend today who witnessed some insulting, and the victim responded with. "Ok, but hearts are pretty." Which is pretty much identical to my own sort of response. I would have said, "Yay! Which means lamps are happy/pretty/more fun" sort of thing. I do wonder why insulting has gotten more frequent. I usually don't get insulted, but I have a friend who likes to walk about with green skin (as we are pretending to be the witches of Oz) and she gets insulted a TON.

I like wearing 8 teleport magic pins and watching the greedy ones go completely bonkers! Works best in the fireworks lobby. Take it a step further and just put their unannounced (and unwelcomed) trade requests off to the side without closing them.

8 *faints* Haha sorry. I've been trying to get one for a friend for Christmas but haven't been able to get one. All though I would love to see the ones that go bonkers! Which reminds me of the insulting that comes from people when I wont trade them stuff....

I left One trade request up for a half hour playing pirates around it. Itry not to come back with every smart thing I can think of in real life because next thing you can't play so I usually ignore them unless they are harassing another person, then I ussually just say be nice and they leave or appologize

I know others have heard this from me before, but as I am always not only wearing purple clothing, but purple skin as well, I do get a lot of the "you are ugly!" insults. I truly enjoy watching them go speechless and wander aimlessly away, when I reply "thank you for noticing!"

Egad! I have to use the "beach" line! That's awesome! I usually go with the typical threat of reporting! They vanish within 3.87295 seconds! I've timed!

Agreed, Out! I am always green, in case you hadn't noticed I am often told I am ugly or I must be an alien. My response is always, "I am too cute to be ugly." At which point any friends who happen to be with me in the room suddenly become green! LOL

In real life I reply with, 'I am rubber and you are glue. Whatever you say to me bounces off of me and onto you.( Then I make a fake cough and go Ckloser...)LOL. but on VMK, I normally go. 'Excuse me? We were all made the same. We are all pretty. Everybody but you!'LOL Then they always go..-Cries- I'm telling my nasty VMK mummy about this!!LOL

awesome comebacks (fighting fire with water ) i always found it a little weird in fighting fire with fire because all it does is make it bigger or spread faster ,which in vmk will most likely get u banned.

yea i was green a few times during december bc i was an elf. someone walks up and say u are ugly as then they put periods...... then i say basically wut cl_outofmymind said and i sometimes hang out with goofy05 aka. mi mi and we always have fun Being Green there is nothing better than an insult going to u and then u just say something out of the ordinary and they are like u are crazy and they leave. BEING GREEN IS FUN AS ANYTHING U CAN THINK OF!

I was incredibly ugly and in Central Plaza with my sister. A group of kid-minded boys started calling me names. Oh - and I was a boy at the time. So I went over and joined the group. I told them I heart them, I thought they were cool, followed them around, they really got flustered. The best part was my computer was so slow I was saying things to them ages after they talked to me.....and it came out really weird. My sister was ROFL via AIM at the time. We felt a little guilty but what if I had been a child?....Brats.

I wonder if they realize what they're doing. Like maybe they don't do it in real life (which I doubt, but anyway) but they just do it in VMK because they don't think it matters. Eh, I have no idea.

Haha...yup that would be me (hence my sig and avatar). What do people have against green girls?
It's really more amusing than anything else now...
My two favorite insults are:
"You look like a dog that just ate a rotten fish". I have to give them points for that...that's one of the more creative ones I've heard. I just about fell off my chair when I saw this pop up on the screen

and​

"I look like a monster"...Obviously a typo...or maybe it's a cry for help? Maybe she's suffering from low self-esteem. Either way, she managed to fix it, but not before I could reply "Yes, you do look like a monster"...I don't usually like being mean, but I just couldn't resist that one little commen (besides- she said it first ). How often do you get people to say something like that?
