Things have been a little "down" on the CB lately. So let's start this and see how long we can keep this going.

What are YOU thankful for?

Me? I am thankful that the sun shone this morning and that there are only 6 more weeks of winter!

:sunny:

OK! How about this one?
I am thankful that I did not have to pack DH's lunch this morning (they had a catered lunch and dinner.) It is a job that I hate when we don't have leftovers and we had a quick dinner out last night - so no leftovers. So I am thankful that I didn't have to scrounge around for something for his lunch this morning.

:)

I am thankful for a whole lot of things. :)
One of which was being able to play in the warm rain tonight. :teeth:

Oooh, Laurie, I would have been thankful for that too! :teeth:

I'm thankful that I have wonderful friends that never fail to make me laugh. :)

Honestly all I have... we are lucky to both have jobs, good health, wonderful families, a great place to live... heck even a place to live is better than some. We have a lot and I realize it every day.

There's so much to be thankful for I'm sure we could keep this thread going for years.....

The first one that popped into my head though was the fact that I live within 30 minutes of all of my brothers and sisters. I am the oldest of 6 children and we do things together all the time. As a matter of fact we all just went bowling Fri night...with the exception of the 17 yo whose social life is too important to go bowling with her family right now!!

I love them so much....

Oh my goodness nkjzmom! That WOULD be wonderful!

And in the same vein, I am soooo thankful that I still have both of my parents and that they are in great health, and that we have a wonderful relationship!

:)

I am so thankful ds (21) will graduate from the U in just 3 months!

And that his sister (l9) doing well as a freshmen at the U.

They are both content and happy.

I am thankful that my mother's operation went well and that the doctors think her knee will be fine.

I am thankful that my sister still lives up there to be able to help my stepdad out with my mom at this time.

I am thankful that my best friend lives downstairs from my mother and is able to take care of the house issues (a pipe burst when she was down here visiting me) while she is laid up.

I am thankful that all my friends and family are healthy.

I am thankful that I was able to help a friend today who has been very helpful to me...it was nice being able to return the favor and also to realize that he trusted me enough to show me his grief (his father passed away unexpectedly this weekend) and to know that I would be able to handle it. And I am also thankful that he seemed to listen to my advice when I reminded him not to shut his wife out of his grief (because as he said, it upset her to see him emotional since he ususally isn't). I reminded him that he needed to trust her to handle it...she loves him and wants to help him.

And on a much lighter note...I am thankful that I was able to renew my AP and pay cash for it!!!

I am thankful that C.Ann's DD is responding to antibiotics.
 C. Ann

Ohhhhh - here is something that I am REALLY thankful for:

Saturday evening the Check Engine light in our van came on. Today as I made a quick trip to the store - the Check Engine light went OUT! Woo Hoo! :) (Hope that that didn't just mean that the lightbulb for it burned out! )

Oh where do I begin?

I am thankful for a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful baby due in 3 months!!! Where did those other months go? HA HA!

I am also thankful for my family and their health. Oh! Also a husband that treats me better than a princess.

I'm thankful for a new home and an upcoming trip to WDW. I'm thankful for my family and for the fact that I get the chance to quit my humdrum job and try something else soon. I'm thankful for my pets and my friends.

And I'm particularly thankful for BethR starting this thread. Thanks, this is a great reminder. :teeth:

I'm thankful for my children and DH -- even on days when things are a bit hectic and I want to trade them in for new ones!

I'm thankful for my best friend Maryetta, she has helped me through thick and thin and ups and downs, and all my "great ideas" I come up with! She's a keeper!:D

I am thankful for my family,

I am thankful that I am going to graaduate in 3 months,

I am so happy for my trip to WDW after graduation.

After a childhood of building a fire everymorning in a freezing cold house, I am so thankful that DH has a good enough job, that if I'm even chilly, that I can walk over to the thermostat in the hall and push taht little button over a bit and TADDAAHHH!!! HEAT!!!!

My kids just don't get it.
