Love those magnets! I have those chipboard pieces too-great idea to make those magnets too! I might copy you and take them to put on my white board at school.

That's wonderful about the costumes! DIS friends are the best! I'm hoping to snag some pirate-y stuff this year on clearance after Halloween for our cruise next spring. With the new Pirates movie coming out I am sure that stuff will be everywhere and Ben still has all his stuff from Pirate's League too.

Oh you can count on all sorts of new pirate-y stuff I am sure!!! Yes, it is already coming out! I know, aren't DIS pals the best!!! We have the Pirate league accessories, except the swords which are long gone!

I'm looking forward to your spring break photos. Please friend me on FB too!!

When are you guys done with school? We aren't out until the 17th of June.

Oh, I will I will!!! Soon I should have time to post here... school is out on the 16th for us, we leave that Monday before the cruise, heading down on the auto train. We drive from there to the terminal, and then on our way home we go to Vero for 5 nights. then back home!

We just ordered the magnets to go on the back of ours today. I think mine might be a little larger... We are doing the 1 1/4 inch size.

Yes yours do sound larger! Mine are 1 inch... where did you find the bigger ones? Are yours glass or plastic?

I can see it now, me gluing them on the way down.
At least our pillowcase and FE holder came in from ETSY and I'm thrilled with they way they came out!

OH how funny, yes, I can see that happening!!!! HA! But I am sure they will look adorable too! YAY for your FE stuff coming in! Mine is due to arrive tomorrow! I am so excited to get it!! I have to run the school awards assembly tomorrow evening, though, so alas I wont see it before practically bed time!!!

So glad the costume worked out and you found a hat. I still haven't excavated Baylor's room with the grad party, there hasn't been time. I say let N. play in them all he wants!!!

Oh you and Michelle really made two boys happy, and they don't know it yet!!! My Disney order shipped today so I should have lots of pics to share this weekend. I can't wait to see him in the whole costume. I must say thank you again!!!! Oh don't worry, he is! He cracks me up!

As for my magnets I got glass, wish I would have ordered the plastic like you did though. Marc found the magnets online. I'm sweating that order getting here although he paid a little more for shipping. I did the same thing with an Athleta swimsuit order this weekend!

POST away Ms. Anita!!! Of course!! I want to see it! I got the glass cabachons too, that is why I needed to get bigger magnets that those I had originally bought. They were heavier. I think they look nicer, though, and don't scratch as easily... I am sure they'll arrive! You can finish the work at the Beach club! Get Jen to help you!!!! LOL! Use that dining room table in your 1 bedroom!!!!

WE just got out FE in the mail last night!!! I am so excited! It is too cute.

You should have seen me right before spring break I was the same way I placed an order for stuff online, then bought the same stuff at the store (Gap) for the kids, b/c I was afraid it wouldn't come in time and I didnt want to lose the 40% online discount!!! The things we do for a good deal.

I will get a photo of mine up too!!!

That is so funny!! YES I saw ads for that polish too!!! I also read they are doing Mermaid makeovers at the Pirate's league in the MK. HOW fun!!!! That I would do....

Thanks on the magnets! A few have air bubbles, but they were made with Disney love I am looking forward to getting it all finished.... my FE is too cute! My DH just rolled his eyes...

Hurray! I finally have a chance to read and enjoy your update!

Love the costumes! So sweet of Anita and Michelle to send them to you! I can just see DS5 wearing his every day! Connor used to do that! We went through similar phrases with Spiderman, Batman, Power Rangers, and Darth Vader. It does give one a start to see a miniature Darth Vader crossing across the living room. You probably feel the same way when that skeleton pirate is headed to the kitchen for a snack.

Hi! Yes, I just printed labels with a disney graphic and that it was from us, then put a label back to back so it stuck together.... you could print labels and put them on your bags??

WHERE has the time gone??!! I think on one hand how soon my vacation is, and then how crazy the next few weeks is going to be!!! THIRTY days from now we are on our way to a great adventure! Well, actually 29 days, until we take the train, so I guess my vacation officially starts then!!!! My sense of being ready for this trip changes hourly!!! LOL! May is such a busy time at work and home. Both DS's and my DH have birthdays in June. Basically a week apart one after the other!!! Needless to say the first three weekends in June include a festivity. We have a Party two sundays in a row, and a big BBQ/Party for my DH on the 18th... Then we leave on vacation two days after!!!

Oh, and between now and then we have to close up shop on the school year, for all of us, I have to get the vacation planning and shopping finished, and, well, you get it, right??!!

SO... this morning, while I don't have any new trip PTR pics uploaded yet, I do have a few photos from my spring break trip...

These photos just made me laugh, because I found all sorts of "Disney" related things to share while I was away... So here are some fun details...

While on the cruise part of our vacation, when we boarded, the pianist in the lobby was playing "tale as old as time" from Beauty and the Beast.. I got a kick out of that-- DH rolled his eyes! (there was talk about NOT comparing this Italian cruise line with Disney, and DH didn't want me doing that the whole trip, I of course agreed, and didn't -- it was SO different -- but it was a funny introduction, needless to say!)

DISNEY exists in Venice...


Okay, SOME day, I will go here... meantime, I get to take random photos of the lucky people in line... We were on the people mover at the Paris airport...

Roman helmets we bought in Greece... Okay, SPARTAN. So I guess they belong where we bought them!

Crazy mix between 80s style and Las Vegas Casino. Best way to describe this cruise ship. It was very well kept, nice, just dated. But because of that, kinda fun. Everyone was very nice, my kids loved this glass elevator because it went up and down the 10 levels in the lobby all the way up and down...

The closest thing we got to a theme part attraction NOT quite as bumpy as Dinosaurs...

So the Kids club had a few "theme" nights where they invited the kids to dinner... so this one was Alice in Wonderland... Here is a blury photo of "Alice" and "Tweedle dee/dumb" -- it is blury because I didn't want to take a photo of them outright.... you can see my DH walking past them... our kids were already seated and enjoying dinner with the mad hatter!

So this is Olympus... just two boys strolling through Antiquity...

A race and roll down the hill in the stadium... a contest of OLYMPIC porportions... Kinda funny that they were actually having races in the stadium where the first olympic games took place!!!!

The closest thing to the ME in Italy... Complete with a driver who tells you random bits of trivia!!

Hmm.... Now I have been to Venice several times... but the one in Epcot is pretty convincing!!!!

The closest thing to QUICK SERVICE we found in Italy...

NO I have not had too many slushies... okay, well actually I had, but they make this photo easy, because these are on the ceiling of the lobby!!! They are all the ships the cruise line has! DS5 was AMAZED at this feat of IMAGINEERing.

Yes, so the stage on the main deck was all lit up with disco lights one evening, around dinner time, and no one was there, and Michael Jackson was grooving on the loudspeakers, so DS5 got up there and danced solo for a good 5 minutes... I took a ton of photos but here you can get the idea ...

Just a beautiful shot of an Island in the Venitian bay -- Burano...every house is a different color, it is an adorable place...

EASTER!!!! We got these in our cabins.... hollow eggs with "toys" inside, ala Cracker Jack.

The closest thing to V & A we could find in Venice. $$ but AMAZING. That is us with the chef/owner...

And while this cruise was NOT a disney cruise, it was AMAZINGLY fun, and everyone had a great time... thus I am quite certain my kids will think they have won the lottery in a month when we step foot on The Dream!!! Here are just a few pics with a similar view I can't wait to see -- sunsets from the ship, and the movement of the water when the ship is cruising... so much fun is just a few weeks away!!! I can't wait!!!

Thanks, Jackie!!! Yes, it was so great of them! Hope you are enjoying your OFFICIAL start to summer!!! We have our costumes from Halloween, I do plan to resurect them, just resew a costume, because we WILL get to Star Wars Weekends ONE year!!! Oh yes, The Pirate certainly likes to play the part ... looting the pantry was never more fun than in an eye patch and a stealth approach undercover!!!!

Back last year you all gave me some great summer book ideas... Griffin is off on his adventure with Rick Riordan, but have you some other suggestions? You and Jennifer gave me a few, I was thinking Historical fiction not just fantasy... Let me know! I may have to go back and reread that list she gave me, and review my old PTR !!!!

The magnets did turn out well, I like them. They are not perfect, but made with Disney spirit so I think they will go over well!!
