I had her leave goofy's apron red but now I wish I'd have changed it to green but overall, I think it's adorable. My half one is cuter though. LOL. Funny how a gift for the kids ends up being one for yourself.

A spring break Med. Cruise sounds like fun. I can't wait for your mini tr when you get back. I may have to PM you some questions. We've been thinking of doing a big family cruise to the Med. on RCL. But when the turmoil started in Egypt, our plans got put on hold. We REALLY want to do one of the cruises that stops in Egypt.

Thanks!!! I will be putting a mini TR together, don't worry! I can't wait to do so myself! Some of the scenery is familiar, but most is not, so I can't wait to check it all out, and this new cruise line -- it is Costa, and it is an italian cruise line, apparently really nice, so we'll see!

Yes, my DH was fortunate that they made it to Egypt as travelers last year.

Well they are not assembled as of yet but all the supplies are here! I do have some pics to post really I will before I leave!! Needless to say packing for a family trip requires a lot to keep track of, and going overseas adds another layer of challenge!!!

BTW, I'm going to be in D.C. for a large part of the break, but you'll be in Europe. Since my SIL is having a baby this summer, I'll be in the MD/DC area a lot. Maybe a summer DISmeet?

Since I'm all caught up though I'll be back tonight to see if you have anything for me to copy for our group.
I'm just too tired to come up with anything on my own.

OH I am soooo sorry to have let you down with that update Sunday!!! Talk about good intentions!!! I have been up to my ears in laundry, packing, list making, random erranding, and etc, etc, etc!!!! BUT I do have some pics to upload of the supplies and an explanation! I have not made them en masse yet, but I know they will work, I made a proto-type!!!

You had plenty to keep you busy so I can understand why you were "behind"!!! Don't you have another trip to get ready for in a month??!!

THANK YOU!!! I did, I did!! Trouble is, there is now MORE of the same to do as a result of that packing and organizing!!! Who knew kids outgrew shoes, right before spring break trips... I thought that only happened before SUMMER vacations!!! At this point the week could go slower!! I know I know I can't believe I said that!!!!

Very cute pics, I saw them, but didn't study them, the aprons are adorable... might make those for Christmas next year!!! I have my cookie bakers to think about!!! I often find "gifts" for the boys in our house end up as really gifts for us

I can only say this week is going FASTER than I can keep up with!!!!

SOME observations:

WHY oh WHY do kids grow out of shoes when you have the least amount of time to deal with getting new ones??!! Now I confess I waited until the end to make sure they didn't grow two sizes, I just hope that between now and June their feet dont grow a whole size AGAIN!!!

THANK GOODNESS for ENDLESS.com and Amazon PRIME shipping. Without overnight or two night shipping I would have had barefoot kids!!! I have bought new sneakers, new dress shoes, one new pair of Keens, and one new pair of flip flops!!!!

Cruising for some of a European vacation is not easy (this is new for us) Mostly because dressing for dinner, etc. is expected, and thus the packing has been really really challenging... Normally we don't have to worry about dress clothes -- I don't mean a suit, but even a tucked in shirt and slacks is something I normally don't have to pack -- a dress and heels? Unheard of on prior vacations abroad... I had to get new khaki slacks for both boys, had to make sure all dress shirts were ironed, appropriate color socks (so I didn't have two boys in white socks and brown loafers... ) and I am sure you get the drill!!!! Oh, and TWO new rain coats.. one was "lost" the other too small... so of course I am out BOTH... I have made too many trips to Target, REI, the MALL, etc... I still have a few more to make!! I had to order Bonine for kids from the pharmacy, they were out, special ordered for today, and I am making a drop to the drycleaners this morning. I have a meeting for most of the day, so I have some time to run to take care of a few items between the meeting and work, but good grief! I don't know if I am coming or going!!!

Meanwhile, THANK goodness for my espresso maker! WEATHER here is AWFUL. Rainy rainy two days in a row, it was lovely Monday, what a TEASE!!! but I refuse to send my kids in their new raincoats, so I put them in fleece jackets and told them to dodge the rain drops as they run from the car into school They'll have indoor recess so they'll live and my sanity over losing another coat will be preserved!!!!

WE got a pirate costume in the mail... it fits PERFECTLY!!!! Can I tell you he put it on this MORNING?? as soon as he got up. I AM NOT KIDDING... we tried it on last night, then he put it back in the box and took it and hid it in his closet. Then he got up this morning, put it on so he could "scare dad"

Good grief!! I made it. Really. I can't believe it! Well we are still on the ground, and we are leaving the house at noon, but I made it! I am actually at work for another few hours. It is a slow day, the day before break and I am leaving early. I came in to get things sorted out but I wanted to send a quick farewell and a quick update of sorts...
