Ok, I just had to stop by to say that we booked our flight today !!!!!!!!! We're going to Disney !!!!!! I can't wait to experience Disney with by bestest friend without kids It is going to be a blast.....so be on the lookout, I see a PTR starting very soon

So sorry about that!!!!! It actually says "Class of '97" but is folded at a most unfortunate crease!

The trip should definitely be entertaining! And, yes, very sad about Kim's husband - it was a very hard time in her life, and all of ours really. But her son is such a beautiful reminder of her husband, and in a sense, he's still with us because of him. Not to mention that her boyfriend, David, is AMAZING to her and especially to her son! We couldn't ask for a better man for her.

I just wanted to post here so you would see my new siggie I was so happy to add a new countdown ticker!!! It's like I was lost without one 3 weeks from today we'll be boarding a plane bound for the Happiest Place on Earth, and I can't wait!!!!!

We have our flight home! For weeks and weeks, we have been watching the rate on our return flight go up and down, and we finally just bit the bullet and got it! It was almost twice as much as what we paid for the flight over, but oh well - WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to add here, that I found a paying it forward thread on the Transportation Board, and an amazing disser "vossjemi" gave me a $44 Southwest travel credit that was expiring before she could use it! Isn't that awesome!!!!

Okay, so here we are . . . 20 days until our trip . . . .

Resort Reservation - check!
Dining Plan - check!
Parkhoppers - check!
Plane Tickets - check!
ADRs - check!

What else can I prepare for now? Come on, people, I need some help to pass the time!

Good idea, Sara! Well, if any of you read my PTR from our September trip, then you should remember how overboard I went with shopping for that trip. And by overboard, I don't mean spent an overabundance of money, but rather bought things that I probably could have done without. But that's neither here nor there, so let's talk about shopping for THIS trip. So far, the only thing that I've purchased is 2 pair of Earplanes for our flights! I know that's hard to believe, but it's so definitely true - go me! I guess I do need to say, though, that DH and I are going shopping tomorrow for tennis shoes, so I can't promise that my thriftiness will last much longer. Something about an impending trip just makes me wanna shop, shop, shop! (Yes, I do realize that it's an illness, but no, I do not plan to solicit help for my little problem) Okay, so I am really sorry that this TR has gotten so boring - there's just not much happening as far as planning right now. MAYBE (AHEM) KATIE, CHRISTY, AND MAYBE EVEN JOSH WILL START CHIMING IN THEIR 2 CENTS AND SPICE IT UP A LITTLE! HINT! HINT!
