A Halloween Adventure in Autism (11/12) New Thread Begun on TR Board!

Your ADR list looks great, Kathy! You have places I would like to try someday (Le Cellier, 50's Primetime, Ohana at dinner) and a few that we have really enjoyed like Boma and Crystal Palace! Good luck on Saturday!

Kathy, that's pretty exciting! One week 'til ADR's!! And your ADR choices look so good! We'd like to try Le Cellier too. Possibly for the Candlelight Processional, we've never seen the CP.

Oh, the CP is amazing... you must do it! ::yes::

good luck with the ADRs. :thumbsup2

Thanks... a little prayer from you wouldn't hurt, either! Since you're "connected" and all that! ;)

Thanks!

It's fun to mix new experiences with old favorites... that way, no one gets bored! (Connor and Chelsa would love 50's PTC; its a lot of fun to do the schtick with your server!)

And how can you not love looking at your dessert menu on a View Master??

That's what we try to do each trip -- old favorites and new ones.

I loved my Viewmaster as a kid -- I still remember the clicking sound it made as I switched from picture to picture!

At primetime...the pot roast is yummy. Occasionally a bit dry, but ask for extra gravy...soooo good.

I hear the shakes/malts are good too, but you know that I can't partake or else the toilet would be callin my name....several times.......

I am "connected", but aren't we all in some way, shape or form......We are all His children....

Me too! I remember when the 3D disks came out... whoa!! So high-tech! :lmao:

1) Pot Roast... love it! :thumbsup2

2) Milk shakes are so thick, you can stick your straw in the middle and it will stay there for a loooong time! :cloud9:

3) You are so right, my friend!

Kathy

Great party update Kathy - and I like your ADR list! I'm going to try online tomorrow.

It is hard to wait... but at least I feel like the real itinerary planning can begin very soon!! ::yes:: Then the time will go by much faster, I think!

Well, for Heaven's sake, go eat something! You're making me hungry!! :rotfl:

(I haven't tried nacho fries, in fact, I've never heard of them til now! They must be a West Coast delicacy!)

Kathy

Wow just one week until you can make your ADR's.

I think your choices sound yummy! Can you post the link to where you can make ADR's on Disney's site.

Have you decided which days to go to which parks? Or do you have Park Hoppers? I really want to get the Fantasmic Dinner Package and I don't know what day we will go to DHS (we don't have hoppers)

Brook, you absolutely must try the Jazz Brunch at The Court of Two Sisters... it was incredible!!

Kathy

I made a note of that place in my NOLA plans! Thank you for the recommendation. :goodvibes

Your ADRs look really great! I hope are you able to snag them all. I believe I read another thread fairly recently about how the Online ADR System was not reading DVC reservation numbers. I thought they said they corrected it, but perhaps not. I'm very curious as to your phone call tomorrow morning and how it will all go. I hope us DVCers are left out of the online system! :sad2:

(*For those of you following along, I called the Poly today to see if the beach is wheelchair accessible and a cast member ran outside and all the way down to the beach just to find out!! Wasn't that awesome?!)

That is pure Disney service!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

My thoughts are that you will have an easier time getting ADR's the further out in your vacation that you go because of the 90 day +10 days rule. Because all the other guests that are arriving in the days prior to you have access to the beginning of your vacation week before you do. Does that make sense? Here's what happend to me. I arrive on a Wednesday, I tried for Tusker House on Friday...Nothing.....Nada.....Zip. But I got it for Sunday.

That is a VERY good point Heidi. I'm going to keep that in mind when making mine for NYE week. Smart lady!

And all this talk about nacho fries is making me droooooooooooool. I've had them, AMAZING! I also dig the gravy fries.

You're very welcome! (Bring pants with elastic waist for the ride home!!) I know I gained at least 5-7 lbs in one week!!

I will definitely pass along any information I can get about on-line ADRs and DVC! :thumbsup2 Hopefully it will go off without a hitch...

Of course, there's the old standby, the phone, if it doesn't go smoothly!

Hi Nancy!!

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/

Click on your restaurant of choice, then click on "make reservation!"

I'm still playing with Which Parks/Which Days... but I need to make some kind of gameplan to make those ADRs. If I decide to change my itinerary, it will mean changing ADRs and that's always a gamble.

We're getting the park hoppers because we like to have the freedome to make last-minute touring decisions, say, if we're at a park and it's super-crowded, we can hop to another one! :thumbsup2

I don't know if you're familiar with Steve Soars website, but it is very helpful as your trip approaches because he has up-to-date info on all the park entertainment. I find it easier to read than the official website...

Currently, Fantasmic is shown on Sun, Tues, and Thurs (although that might change, of course.)

Here is more info on the Fantasmic Dining Package:

Do you promise that the time will go by faster? Huh do ya? :rotfl: I need to be in WDW NOW!!!

Thank you! Those links are helpful! For the last week of October they are showing Fantasmic! on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
I wonder if it will be the same schedule the next week? Will I be able to book a Fantasmic Dinner Package before the park schedules are released? Or do you think they will release the November schedules on August 1?

I think we are going to have to try for Tuesday, Nov. 3 to see Fantasmic!:smickey: Can you tell the anticipation is killing me!:rotfl:

I feel like I'm at a meeting of Over-Anticipator's Anonymous!

Nancy, meet Tracy. Tracy, this is Nancy. :rotfl:

Judging from recent history, I do not expect park hours before August 1st. I think you can book your Fantasmic dinner package as soon as you hit your 90 day mark.

I'm really not stressing too much because we can all jump through hoops planning our itineraries and ADRs and Disney can just go ahead and change things at the last minute, anyway! So.....

Just think "Hakuna Matata" and take your best shot at scheduling.

It's Walt Disney World.... it's all good!!! :cloud9:

Kathy

All this talk about ADRs and the F&W Festival is making me hungry.

Good Luck with your ADRs on Sunday... I hope you have an easy time getting what you want using the online version. :goodvibes
