Any tips for a group of 10? Six adults, 4 children ages 4-14. We have the meal plan and the park hoppers.

Was eating together difficult? Did you split up in the parks? Things along that nature.

I just made our ADR's about a month ago and we also have a party of 10. Four of the 7 ressies are together. The other ones are split.

at TS restaurants we had to make ADRs thru Grand Gatherings, they tell you that you might be seated at different tables, but we never were
CS was never a problem

as for splitting up...if your group was ok with it...GO FOR IT!
keeping 10 people all together & doing the same thing was kinda difficult, but it was do-able!

we had wheelchairs with us so it was pretty interesting getting around with 4 people walking, 3 pushing & 3 riding in wheelchairs(THIS i DONT recommnend);)

I think you will enjoy the large group.
just an fyi: you tend to move at a slower pace with more people cause of keeping track of everyone & constant stops, but its all in fun!

June 2 - June 9
If you haven't already done so, be sure you make your ADRs (advance dining reservations). That's the beginning of the busy summer season and you won't just be able to walk up and get a table for 10.

Make sure you get to the parks at opening and make good use of the fastpass system. Just send one person to collect everyone's fastpasses - that takes less time. And remember, Fastpasses are good until park closing on the day you get them. A lot of people don't know you can use them past the printed window on the pass - never before the return time, but always after the return time until park closing that day. Take a look at www.touringplans.com to get a look at which parks are best for which dates. Gay Days will be going on June 4, 5, 6 and 7 so, in regard to crowds, you may want to avoid those parks that are having those designated events on a certain day. Unless your family is going to participate in Gay Days, then you probably wouldn't want to avoid those park days.

As far as splitting up, we don't usually split up. We like to have the WDW experience with our whole group. But, I'm sure that differs from family to family. Also, we haven't had any issues eating with a big party. Just make sure you get to your ADR about 15 minutes early to check in.

Hope ya'll have a magical vacation!

We did a GG with 10 adults and 4 children in July 2006 (Sat-Sat). We planned at least one sit-down ADR for each day for all of us together; almost always we were all together (were seated at two different tables at Rainforest Cafe and at Mama Melrose - could see each other but not close enough to talk). For the first five days we all went to the same parks, but sometimes split up into groups. We generally watched shows and parades together, and also tried to catch up for mid-day breaks at the pool. The last two days of parks we split up more so we could all visit our favorites again or different things we hadn't done yet. We're all pretty easy-going, but everyone had a great time, and we are planning to do it again maybe next year.
