Today was a pretty good day to be in the parks! When I got to Mickey & Friends 40 minutes after the park opened, I really expected a long line, but I drove right up to the parking booths! Security was a breeze.
Because of many of you, I have learned so many wonderful things (like the parking structure bypass).
I also tried Rancho del Zocalo for the first time. I remembered a great tip from many of you - sofa refills! Woo hoo (it is the little things, right?). The food was pretty good too, especially while watching BTMRR.
The waits and crowds were low today and fastpasses were still available for evertything at 4:00. And it is Saturday.
A couple of rides were down for a few hours (HYPER SM, HM, Storybook), but I was still able to ride the first two eventually. I also rode a few Fantasyland rides with 5-10 minutes waits in the early afternoon (Alice, Snow, Pinocchio). This was very different from the reports I read about from from during the week!
I even watched a show (which I don't normally do) since many of you recommended it - Mickey and the Magical Map and I was fairly impressed. I would see it again.
