A Grand Dream of a Honeymoon - June 2011

My exam is on Wednesday but after that I'll make a start on a PTR, hope to keep in touch with everyone while I countdown for our next trip :goodvibes

I hope your exam went well and can't WAIT for you to get started on your PTR!:yay:

I had no idea you started this! I always follow my followers. Well I'm off to read.

Really cute luggage tags!

Do you have any wedding pics to share with us? hehe

(Sorry I'm so late you might have already commented on things I will say).

I didn't think you'd have to fly over Canada.

I'm also hoping that if I end up being married (been single for a while and starting to wonder where the perfect guy is), I want to either have a private wedding ceremony at WDW, or honeymoon there.

It's weird to me that you have to go to immigration in MCO. We have to go to Customs, but we do in Canada before we go to the USA. And we do in Canada when we get back. I guess international flights all have their policies.

I love how Disney puts little touches in things to make people feel special. Those are the moments we remember the most.

That may be stupid of me, but I didn't think you had to pay for foods like coffee onboard.

Pirates night seem to be fun.

I'm also glad that you mentioned they don't mind checking with the chef about your allergies. Although I often get shy about asking.

I really liked our luggage tags.. even the lady who served us in the shop at the airport noticed my 'just married' one and said congratulations! :cutie:

There are some wedding photos on the last few pages of my PJ (link in signature) and I've put an album up on facebook too :bride:

It is strange about the flight paths (my Dad's explained it to me.. I think it's to do with the way the earth is spinning & the curve?! :teacher:) - we fly over Canada and the north east US on the way to Florida, but then on the way home the route is straight out over the Atlantic and takes 60-90 minutes less!

That's interesting that you don't have to do immigration like we do. For a while after 9/11, we had to go through bag scanning at MCO after getting off the plane - they've stopped that now but you can still see the security areas in the terminals.

We were so lucky with all the little extras we got during the honeymoon! There really is no where else we could've gone and been made to feel so special :cloud9:

That may be stupid of me, but I didn't think you had to pay for foods like coffee onboard.

We had to pay for alcoholic drinks and speciality coffees from the cafes, but everything else was included with the price of the cruise - there were two huge self-service stations on deck 11 for coffee, hot tea and sodas :thumbsup2 We didn't feel the price of the other drinks was too bad, I think it was about $5 for a cocktail and $3 for a latte?

The Dooney you bought is lovely!

Thank you - I was so pleased I got that one! A waitress at Citricos noticed it the next week at WDW and asked where it was from because she hadn't seen the design before. :cutie:

Pirate night was so much fun! I'm glad now we did buy costumes, even if we did feel a little self-conscious to start with :rolleyes1

The cruise line is meant to be really great for food-allergies.. on the online booking there is a section to fill out for dietary requirements.. I didn't put about my nut allergy there, because I'm not seriously allergic & find it easy to avoid the ones I don't like to eat! But if you have a food allergy, the chef at each restaurant will come out to talk to you.. I've heard they'll even do things like the Palo chocolate souffle - gluten-free, etc! :thumbsup2

Awesome.

I have an intolerance to almonds so I stay away from nuts altogether. My doctor says that the intolerance could turn to a bad allergy if I keep eating it (almonds) so I just don't. But it's almost impossible to find certain foods like granola that doesn't have almond in it.

Lovely view of Wishes. Which made me think maybe we should try the dessert party. We use to view fireworks from there before it was the dessert party.

Sorry you felt ill. I hate being sick on vacation.

I have never been on Everest. Each trip I tell myself that I will... and end up not going lol

hehe It's not that awkward as a kissing pic. I think it's cute.

Awe, it's so nice that your husband surprised you. It must have felt great. I'm always the one surprised people. And I can only imagine how good it feels to have it happen to you ;)

Speaking of accent.. I think you guys have a very sexy accent. I'm drawn to "English" guys. Too bad there aren't many around here hehe

I love the Maharajah jungle trek. Last time I went it was in March and it was so cold that the dragons didn't want to come and see people. Don't Tigers seem to have a beautiful life? Lazy cats :)

Isn't the new Queue of Haunted Mansion awesome? And how about the new ending with the hitchhiking ghosts??!!

You were on a roll..(you kept beating Stephen on games)

Looks like a lovely meal at California grill.

I had loved the elevator in Disney Quest too.

Sad that it's no longer there.

I know what you mean about having less of an appetite in the heat. I'm the same!

Lovely MK morning.

I love how when you get there early you can get so much done.

Isn't Crystal Palace's breakfast lovely?

We personally did not expect to like it that much.
