I am biting the bullet and applying to a new school. I love my students, but feel like I do not have the appropriate support from some of the higher ups in my particular school. Many times things will be promised but not followed up on. This year has been a lot better than last mostly because the one para who was causing me all the trouble did not come back, but I still feel that there is little to no suppot when working with these behaviorally challenging students.
I am looking into an in district transfer, but I am also going to apply to a couple of districts. One is a charter school in KC that I have been wanting to teach at since I graduated. They require two years of experience and I am on my second year. I am also looking into applying to the district where I live. I will miss my students, but I think the change will be good.
Does anybody know of a good site for resume tips? I'm currently using resume builder to make it since I don't have a current template, but any site that includes suggestions and sample wording would be great! Thanks.
