A good DME experience and a question

We landed in MCO at about 12:30pm on Sat Feb 27th. We went directly to DME with no stops. I had my voucher in hand and was waved up to the podium and we were sent right into the CSR line. We were the only ones in line and within 5 minutes were directed onto our bus. With only a 10 minute wait on the bus we were on our way and CSR was the first stop. I honestly do not remember what time I checked in because I was too excited to remember. I don't think it could have been any better time wise.

I am wondering why all of those people were waiting in line at the DME counters. Maybe people who booked last minute and did not have their vouchers?

We did not use DME on the way home.

We have used DME 12 times now, and we have always, ALWAYS had a good experience. We love it!

I'm a little confused. I have only used DME one time and it was a couple of years ago and at the airport we had to wait in the line to check into DME and then get in the line for the bus. Has something changed? Is there a way to skip checking in at the DME counter at the airport?

Yeah it surprised me when the CM waved to me to come up to the podium. He said something about he saw that I had my voucher in my hand. :confused3

Yes, as long as you had enough tags for your luggage for ME, and your vouchers, they will direct you to the bus area.

The counters are still for people who may have additional luggage and they have to turn in their baggage claim tickets, people who changed resorts at the last minute, etc.

So this leads me to a question. (sorry I'm a ME newbie here)

I made a last minute resort switch and wanted to surprise dh and kids when the bus pulls up to WL. Do we get in a line that will say WL? I guess it makes sense that they direct people to different buses according to resort area.
