As for my mum buying the first round - stingyness runs in the family. It's amazing the number of times I find myself urgently needing to use the bathroom just as it's my round.

My mum hasn't driven in years. She's just enjoyed her 81st birthday.
However, I do have a wife that I keep for just such ocassions and she is driving home. It's only fair, I drive there, she drives home.
