What is the most you have ever spent on a purse?? What kind was it and what about it could you just not live without! (You all know I'm a purse addict and I feel the need for a new one!!!)

If you aren't a purse addict what have you spend too much money on because you just had to have it??????

ahhh I can tell you the least i spent on a purse $3.50 at Esprit when they were going out of business. Actually I get compliments on the dumb thing all the time.

I would spend money on Kate Spade bags if I didn't think I'd get shot... LOL

I think the most I have spent is seirously about $40.00

Plus venice Beach has CUTE gucci, kate spade and all kinds of great looking knock offs for about $20.00

$20 for the most expensive (I rarely carry a purse-I'd just lose it ).

I can't think of anything that I spent a lot of money on just because I had to have it.

In the past I've spent as much at $75. Now I wouldn't spend more than $25. It just isn't that important to me anymore.
The purse I am carrying now I spent $24.99 on at Target and everyone compliments me on it.

I don't know where you guys get your purses..but I sure want to know!

I usually spend around 50-70.00! The most expensive purse to date was 110.00( that was a Coach purse). Usually go with the Liz or Nine West!

$100.00 on a pretty saddle bag pocketbook from a leather boutique. No name brand, but handcrafted.

Some women collect shoes. I collect handbags. I've got abut a hundred. They mostly run in the $30 to $300 price range.

I once went totally overboard. I purchased a Gold Pfeil handbag ($1000) , wallet ($200) and matching brief case ($4000). The handbag is sooooo cute -- it's a camera bag with a long shoulder strap in a sumptuous black leather. The briefcase is a standard hardcase in the same black leather. But you get what you pay for. After over a decade of use, they still look brand new.

I think the most I've ever paid is around $120. I have a Kate Spade bag, but it was a gift. I've actually been thinking I need a new one.

Around $150 for a Coach purse. I usually buy my purses at Kohl's for around $30 - $35.

I'd say about 70ish, I think. I don't splurge on purses, although I've thought about it. I'm weird that I like my wallet to "match" my purse. So, then I'd have to get a matching wallet too, which just ads to the price. I've had a purse now, from Kohl's, for like $30 with a matching wallet (Villager) and I really love it, but it is getting old. I've been looking at new purses, but just can't bring myself to spend what they are asking for the ones I like. My DH is rubbing off on me with his "frugal-ness"!! LOL!!

I have a client who is going to Paris for a little trip, and she saw a purse there the last time she was there, and it was $400.00 less than what she saw here. (She wants to get it, THIS TIME!) $400.00 LESS????????????? Holy-cow! How much is that purse? LOL!!! Yikes!!!

DH bought me 2 Coach purses & those are probably my most expensive purses.
I am a purse junkie too! My friends all joke because I change purses so often.
There is a store near me called Elder Beerman, it's a chain but I'm not sure where else it is, that has the best deals on purses! I got an adorable Liz bag for 6.50 & my current favorite Nine West for 10.00. If you have an Elder Beerman near you watch for their Midnight Madness Sale!!

about $10. I like purses that are just big enough to carry my credit cards and some cash, maybe a lipstick tube and another tubular-shaped personal item.

Of course, my style has always been on the bohemian side. I wouldn't be caught dead with the purses you guys are mentioning. My favorite purse ever was a little knit deal that I got for $5 in the French Market in New Orleans. Now I'm using the most preppy thing I've ever owned, a brown "sac" purse. It was a gift and is really only a preppified version of my mesh purses. I actually bought myself a matching black one (just can't wear brown with black)... $10 at an outlet store.

The most I have ever spent was 300.00 and it was a Dooney but Ill tell you what it was 7 years ago for that one and it still looks great!!
I have bought smaller cheaper ones since.

The most I've spent was $80 for a Polo Sport purse that I just "had to have" and only ended up carrying about 2 months or so! I have a purse fetish and get tired of my purses too quick! So now, I try to go for cheaper purses so my DH won't have a heart attack!

I am in Shock at some the prices paid . I am a purse/shoe junkie and have at least 25 hanging around in my house but i have never paid more then $25.00 i get them on sale or else i don't get them - that is my own rule of not over spending ! I am with Doc thou i mostly have the cute little tiny ones that my mom calls a wallet on a string as it can fit into her suitcase sized one !!

I've got a Dooney(sp), but I didn't pay for it. And as a purse it's pretty useless, at least the one that was given to me. lol

The most I have every paid for a purse was $30. I feel so out of place. lol

Even when I spurge, I shop somewhere like Penney's. No designer duds for me.
