That reminds me... how often does the raft come and go? I'd hate to feel like I was stuck over there.

Oh it's back and forth all the time. I don't think I've ever waited more than 15 minutes for it.

great update OB! I love the pictures from Tom Sawyer's! Looks like ya'll had a blast. I can't believe the line for HM!! I guess that's a ride we'll have to hit first thing in the morning from now on.

I love that you take a picture of bird every time you go to WDW in the same spot on Tom Sawyer's Island! What a great idea!!

Anyways, sorry to make this short but it's time for me to leave work and head home.

After all that exercise on Tom’s Island, Sugar, Bird and I hit Big Thunder with our Fast Passes!

Paw Paw and Teddy Bear went in search of a Barq’s (which they never found).
Then we passed these and couldn’t resist.

We did find the stand selling baked potatoes and corn on the cob! We got one of each for the kids.
Bird loved her baked potato, but sadly Teddy Bear did not eat his corn.


Sneak Attack !

We rounded the castle and found a 5 minute wait for IASW ! On we go!

This was Teddy Bear’s favorite ride of the day. He kept pointing out things for me to take pictures of and after we got off the ride he continued
to sing the song until he drove us nuts.

We then decided it was time to hit the road. We hadn’t even been to the condo yet. I don’t have any fancy pictures of the grounds while we are driving in, but we were pretty tired at this point. When we got in, Sugar and Paw Paw were properly impressed. Windsor Hills is very nice
and I would recommend it to anyone. This is our second year staying there and it is wonderful. Here are some pics of the condo.

See that white box? That is Teddy Bear's corn on
the cob. Can someone explain to me why I am compelled to bring such things
home (or in this case to the condo?). I knew no one was going to eat it, but
couldn't bring myself to throw it away. It sat in the refridgerator until we
were ready to leave and then I felt fine throwing away. I know there is some
deep psychological meaning to this but at the moment it escapes me.

I didn’t get any pictures on this day of the rest, but hopefully I did on the last day. We actually had a two bedroom with one queen,
two twin beds and a pull out couch, washer dryer, etc. It was more than enough room and very cheap.

Tom Sawyer Island looks super groovy. Another one I'm wondering if my kids would like. I was gonna ask who won the checkers game, but I see Love beat me to it.

Oh, yeah, we waited in that LONG line for Haunted Mansion last September. I didn't think we were ever gonna get in. Then, we went back in on a rainy day and we waited maybe 10 minutes tops.

My daughter did the same thing as Teddy Bear on IASW. Mom, take a picture of that, take a picture of that....

I think I ended up with 90 pictures of IASW.

Too funny about the corn on the cob. I do the same thing. I went to Cracker Barrel with my coworker the other day and brought home the biscuits. Nobody's gonna eat them. I don't know why I don't tell them to just NOT give them to me. The stupid things are still in my fridge from Monday.

I love the artwork in your hotel room. I recognize that Pirates picture from the tunnel under the train station in MK.

At this point, I think they were a little overwhelmed. We packed alot into that first day and we only went for half a day

Yeah, it is overwhelming for new folks ... and for me too! I have the best intentions to take things slow, knowing I'll be back again some day, but then I just get all caught up in it and want to do everything. It's so exciting!

Last trip was the first we did PhotoPass and I just loved it! and I know what you mean about tackling the photographers! Whenever I saw one, I'd make our group go over and get a photo but they do such a good job!

I know and Bird grabbing his arm to show him where to go Please Please Please tell me how to make them stop growing up.

Got to have the face painted. I missed it last year and Disney World and Mardi Gras are the only times I feel comfortable walking around like that.
