A Flower, A Bird, A Teddy Bear & the Disney First Timers!* LAST UPDATE* 07/25/08

And here are my "details" so far....;)

2008DisneyCalendar.jpg

See how fancy?

I think this is going to be a counter service trip. We are trying to cram so many parks in and the Pirate and Princess Party and it would be too much. The kids don't like to stop and eat a big meal when we are in the parks. In the past, we have done Chef Mickey's and Ohana Breakfast and loved them both, but I think we will be skipping it this time.

I'm loving the calendar! I'm with Sharky...what's going on on the 6th!? Darn Tigger...why you gotta be all up in the way like that!?

:rotfl2:

No, actually DH will not be going this time. Sadly, someone has to pay for this trip so he is staying home to work :sad1:

Hmmm, alone in the house, no wife, no kids, for a week. Something tells me this was the plan all along :sad2:

chris would shoot me if he didn't get to go to disney! you have a very good dh that is staying home so he can pay for your trip :woohoo:

hmmm...or was it the plan all along like you said!? :rotfl: I guess you won't find o ut till after you come back.

Details that is a much better word than that other word:rotfl2:

Hi Love:yay:

:lmao: okay sharky...don't make us start calling you Dan :lmao:

j/k...at least you realize that you didn't spell it right. Dan doesn't even get that far until Tat tells him :rotfl2:

Great itinerary! I, too, want to know what's planned for 2/6!

Yeah, I at least admit I can't spell it, Dan just spells it and thinks he is right until Tat lets him have it:lmao:

That is right.....my bad

Hmmm...Me thinks DH pulled a fast one on you:rotfl2:

Love your calendar....Very creative:thumbsup2

Good idea on the counter service meal...DS too hates to sit down meals...he has better things to do like, riding rides:rotfl2:

Only question, what are you doing on the 6th? Tigger is blocking that:rotfl2:

Actually, nothing on the 6th. Last year we got home at 2am, so I thought it might be a good idea to sleep in and maybe do a little shopping.

That calendar looks great. I like the fonts.

Look for me on Monday, I'll be at Epcot too. Future World.

Oooh Hope to see you there :magnify:

Hooray! I found you! Turns out I still know how to use this thing after being off of it for a few! :lmao:

Yay! :cheer2: Leger is here!

Actually, he is not a "Disney" person :scared1: :scared1: :sad2:

Sad but true !

What a great calendar!!! Good job.:thumbsup2 I think when DS (3)gets older we may switch to CS only too.

Ok I have a small question. What do ya'll think of the plan? I tried to go by what they said were the slowest days in each park but Hollywood Studios had to fall on a Sunday and the Disney website says Sunday is one of the busier days. But if I switch it with Thursday, HS has extra magic hours that day. What do you think?

I think you are going to be fine..:thumbsup2

Extra Magic Hours....are those in the morning? If so, you probably want to avoid that....super crowded..

What about MK on a Sat though? Sat is supposed to be the busiest day at MK, only because of locals.....Did I see you had MK on Sat? If not, just disregard:rotfl2:

Again, I think you are going during a pretty slow season.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Yes Sat is supposed to be busy, but we are driving in that day and doing the half day thing. So I figured we would just take it easy ride what we could ride and just soak it all in (remember my mom and dad have never been).

I just really like Hollywood Studios and want that to be a good day.

ah man, that's crazy...everyone needs to be a disney person.

i think you'll be fine the way it is. stick to the origional plan. if you really want the inside scoop on the crowds check out the unofficial guide. they seem to be dead on.

That is cool your mom and dad have never been,, how neat to see it thru a newcomer's eyes:goodvibes

Orange,

A few things....if you are looking at the WDWinfo site for extra magic hours, they were wrong the last time I checked. The week of Feb 3rd-9th. EMH at DHS is on Monday the 4th(evening) and Saturday the 9th(morning). This is the way it is listed on the Disneyworld.com site.

The High School National Dance Championship is taking place from February 1st-3rd. They use the Indiana Jones theatre for rehearsals. DHS is also the only place everyone can go directly to Wide World of Sports where the competition is held. No busses go directly from resorts. So you have a bunch of cheerleaders swarming DHS Fri-Sun. You may want to avoid DHS on Sunday. Maybe switch your AK/DHS days.....just a thought.

Crud. Thanks for the heads up. Where did you get your info? I will definitely have to rearrange some stuff. Back to the drawing board :thumbsup2
