I am glad you like all the pics. I am waiting for someone to say hey enough already. But really when I read someone elses report that is my favorite part!

Talk your DH into it. It's such fun, everybody asks where you got it done, and they do an awesome job and have some really great choices! Hey it's like a big face tattoo !

Thanks for the ones of the Boneyard b/c I haven't been there before but we'll have to stop by this time. I assume water comes out of the box?? Not sure my 2 yo would appreciate that part so just need the warning!

Kids love the Boneyard! Great place to blow off steam. No animal sounds come out of the box. (Sorry if I am spoiling this for some.) Bird just tried to get too much water from the fountain and it squirted up her nose

More great updates and pictures. I see you ran into my in-laws on the safari. Too bad they weren't behaving themselves. You really got to see a lot of animals. I really like the giraffe picture.

Where exactly is the boneyard? I've never seen it.

It is right before you walk into DinoLand on the left.

This is the first year I got some decent pics! And yeah they were trumpeting and everything. Tour guide said they were playing but looked like fighting to me. Bird was worried that they were going to hurt each other.

Hey ! Can't let the kids have all the fun! And yes she is wearing the same shirt. Leave it to you to point that out I'm sure in a few years, I'll never hear the end of it.

I loved all the pictures on your update OB! I don't think we ever went over to the island in all the times we've been there. Maybe now we'll have to take DGS there! I loved that condo, it is gorgeous! Great update Ob!

The boneyard looks like a lot of fun. I think I might have to take a couple hrs to take ds over to Ak and let him play. AK is not our fav park, but might have to hit it up this year

Next up … Dinosaur !

Paw Paw opted to stay behind with Teddy Bear at the dig site. As scary as he is, there is no way we could have taken him to this ride.

How did I miss that this ride is based on the movie Dinosaur! ? I thought it was just a dinosaur ride. Bird has this movie and loves it!

We loved the ride! It was great ! But I think it scared Bird a little … what do you think?

While I was getting the photo, I sent Sugar and Bird back to the dig site so Bird could get some play time and Sugar could check on the rest
of the crew.

When I arrived, it was not a happy scene. Apparently, Teddy Bear asked Paw Paw if he could take his shoes off and when Paw Paw said no,
he ran away from him to the other side of the dig site and took them off anyway. Then Sugar showed up and he ran from her too. Teddy is usually well behaved, so when I got there I walked him out and had “The Talk” with him. He was not happy.

Something funny struck me looking at your pics from that ride! Look at the one that you took from above of the ride vehicle... on the steps going down is a woman with a red shirt on... that's ME... no I am just kidding! No, what's funny is doesn't she look like a caveman?!?

Also... can't believe that cute little man of your's would try to pull something like that with the grandparents!

Oh and where is the character landing? I didn't know you could meet Pooh and friends at AK!

Yes poor Bird. I continue to torture her the rest of the trip too.

Yeah I think because he is so cute with his big brown eyes, and little boy voice that they let him get away with a lot at school. Plus he is at that age that he is "testing the waters" so to speak. I thought it was funny that he asked permission first though.

It is very scary (at least I thought it was). Bird was a trooper though.

Yes he can be a little devil sometimes. Luckily I am immune to his charms. (well sometimes)

Ok I found this ....

If you are looking for great pictures with the Winnie the Pooh characters, from the entrance head toward the Tree of Life and hang to the right. Watch for the not-so-obvious sign pointing you to a Character Photo Op that is set back from the main path.

and this...

The Discovery Island Landing Character Greeting spot is located between the restrooms and the bridge to DinoLand. It is marked (as are all Character Greeting locations) on the Animal Kingdom guidemap with the traditional Mickey finger character greeting spot icon.

Which makes sense because I know where we went next!

My kids are so animated with the characters. Talking and telling them stories. I wish they could respond.

We then headed over to the Tree of Life…

And the sign showed no wait for this…

But I tell you this is the worst queuing area in all of Disney World. What was supposed to be 5 minutes of waiting was more like 20 minutes, but it felt like an hour. I think it’s because they cram you in there like sardines and it is dark and there is nothing to do. Don’t my kids look thrilled…

Paw Paw and Sugar make the best of it, but look at the girl behind them hanging on her Mom. I swear it felt like we were in there forever.

Sugar really liked this show. We got the biggest kick at the end. When “the bugs” are leaving, the lady behind us screamed and jumped 10 feet in the air. It was almost embarrassing how loud I laughed.

We had just enough time to make it to The Festival of the Lion King. We didn’t have good seats, but we sat in the Lion section ROAR !!!

After waiting in line for the characters, Paw Paw decided it was time to desert us for some football. So he went back to the condo for the
pre-game, and we moved on.

On the way out of Camp Minnie Mickey, we needed a snack so Bird got a bag of chips and Teddy Bear got this…

Look at the little girl in the back eyeing up that Mickey Bar…

It must have looked really good because Sugar decided she had to have one.

Then we saw these guys …

I couldn’t figure out why Lilo wasn’t being very friendly to Teddy Bear. Later Sugar explained that she was pointing at his hands
and then her dress. He had chocolate Mickey Bar all over his hands
and she didn’t want to get her dress dirty!

Moving on we got trapped by the parade, so we took a time out and watched.
