A first for me...question

I e-mailed DU about a ressie for Oct. Friends from work were talking about going to MNSSHP so no more DVC points. I usually book ressies directly through Disney, but florida and passholder rates aren't out yet. Do they do like they do for the cruises, if a better "deal" comes around (eg. the codes come out), do they automatically lower my rate? Or do I need to wait for them to be announced. Thanks!
