Hi,
Just back from level 10 crowds and it all worked out just fine.
We purchased the Aladdin PTN dinner package because of the reserved viewing area.
Let me tell you---the food was crap. Airline food, basically. Really bad. SO much cheaper than Blue Bayou, but you get what you pay for.
We did it because we knew crowds were going to be max and we wanted the viewing area.
This was a fantastic decision! Viewing area is at Small World and it was a completely different and new perspective for us.
We arrived about 45 minutes before the parade and they were already letting people into the area. We filed right in and got a front row spot. We were able to sit on the ground and they don't make you stand up! Very good!
We stayed in place for the fireworks and the projection on Small World is really cool. Fireworks blasting off in front of your face is something else too.
If you want to ride Small World after the fire marshal "clears" the area and declares it safe, be sure to relocate as far left as you can, FACING Small World. Don't stay in the viewing area. They open it up from the far left and walk people in, very orderly and only from that point. There are hundreds of people waiting to ride after the fireworks end. It kind of surprised me!
Single Rider--I don't know how much of a fluke this was but it was awesome. We decided the only way we would get on Indy was to single rider. It was broken off and on all day. Fast Pass down too. So, we decided to do it this way. You enter through the exit, go all the way down and finally, at the loading area she looks at us and asks if it's 2 people, we say yes, but we're single rider. She puts us in the same jeep. Again, we thought it was just a fluke. Nope, did it again the next day and got on together.
This happened as well on Soarin'. Two separate days. We literally bypassed the line each time and got on within minutes. Again, this was a level 10 day and the waits were 70 minutes!
Where this would not have worked--Radiator Racers. The single rider line was longer than the standby line. That was nuts.
