Day One (Wednesday 7/13)
Beaches and Cream. Seated immediately at the counter around 6pm.
DH and I ordered burgers with onion rings. Perfect. Awesome. Wonderful.
Girls (ages 18 & 20) ordered Kitchen Sink. Yes, for the 2 of them. They did not finish it but had fun trying. Great service. Fun place.
Day Two (Thursday 7/14)
Lunch at T-Rex. Walked in with no ADR and were seated immediately at the bar at 11:45am. Girls shared Footprints Flatbread. Plenty for 2 and very tasty. DH had the fish tacos that he declared "okay" and I had the Pteradactyl Salad which was a Cobb basically. It was decent size and very tasty.
Boma. ADR for 6:35. Seated Immediately.
AWESOME as always. Tried all 5 soups and loved them. Also loved the beef roast. We are big meat eaters and we loved it as well as everything else.
Day Three (Friday 7/15)
Breakfast at Trail's End. ADR for 10:30. Seated Immediately.
Great selection for what I thought would be more basic. Lots of fruit, cereals - hot and cold, great pastries, traditional breakfast meats/eggs as well as bbq pork eggs benedict - loved that!! Bisquits and gravy too. Great price for WDW and same breakfast stuff you get everywhere else, just a more laid back atmosphere.
We went on a 3 night cruise here....
Day Four (Monday 7/18)
Lunch at Cantina San Angel around 1pm. No lines but had to wait an eternity for our food. Split 2 orders of nachos. Yummy. Love the black beans on them. Really messy as they are piled with stuff.
Dinner at Kona. ADR for 6:30. Seated within 10 minutes. Service was messy. Forgot our wine, very slow getting our food. This is the second time this has happened to us. Sticky wings, bread with macadamia nut butter and sushi worth going for...we had the shrimp tempura roll and crab cake roll. SUPER delish! DH and I split the teriyaki steak...it was just okay. Kinda tough. Girls both got Pan Asian noodles. Again...meh.
Day Five (Tuesday 7/19)
Lunch at Sci Fi. ADR for 12:30. Showed up LATE!! UGH!! 15 minutes late and waited 10 minutes to be seated. Not bad at all!!! We all had the burgers. FAB!!! LOVE the onion rings too!!! YUMMY YUMMY and great service!! I love this place!!
Dinner at Hoop De Doo!! 7:15pm seating. Love the food although DH didn't care for the ribs. Sangria was flowing and the service was great!! Excellent corn bread, salad, chicken and beans too!
Day Six (Wednesday 7/20)
Lunch at Paradiso 37. Seated immediately. Service started off slow but food came quickly. We shared the Mexican Dipping Trio which we loved. But it is really only enough for a taste if you split it 4 ways. The portion was small. DH had the Jalapeno Burger which he LOVED. I had the Baja Fish Tacos which were meh. Girls had the Quesadillas - enough for a lunch and she liked it - and the burger which she loved.
Overall, I was surprised with how slow the restaurants looked for this time of year. We never go in the summer and had heard bad things about the crowds and the waits. None were too bad at all!!! Happy to answer questions!!
