Hi,
First of all, I was wondering if any of you had used Disneyland paris direct?

Also, on their website, it says the total cost for the empire state club is £300 more than a lake view for HNY. Does the empire state club include the breakfast with a character in the private lounge and the unlimited fastpass?

Another thing, is there a way on the normal disney website to add on a birthday cake? Its just i can do it on the website above but not the actual disney one.

Oh also, I check in March this year to see the price for june 2011 so i had an idea what the price may be like next year but its comes up only £9 cheaper. Do you think I should book it now while I know its a decent amount for my budget or wait to see if it drops any lower and risk it? What would you do?

Finally (i think), when is the right time for me to start buying things for a june 2012 holday lol? I'm rather excited

Hope this helps

Can't help with this I'm afraid

No you can't add a cake on the website but you can ask for one when you book a table at a restaurant. You can book your tables 60 days before you want to eat and ask for a cake, you then pay for it when you eat. If you want to pay for it in advance phone up and add it to your hotel booking. You will then get a cake voucher at check in that you use to pay for it at the restaurant.

Oh also, I check in March this year to see the price for june 2011 so i had an idea what the price may be like next year but its comes up only £9 cheaper. Do you mean that you are being quoted £9 less for next year than it would have cost to go this year? What offer is that using?

Finally (i think), when is the right time for me to start buying things for a june 2012 holday lol? I'm rather excited

As soon as you like. Once I know we are going I tend to start picking up any bargains I see and popping them away somewhere safe so the kids always end up with far more disney clothes than they can possibly wear:rotfl:

:)
Also, does anyone know if this is still correct

http://www.********************/dlp/menus/inventionsl.html

Do you know if they do actually do a lunch buffet, is it cheaper than the dinner one or the same price (51 euros). I know no matter when you go to plaza gardens, you still pay the same price regardless.

Inventions still does a lunchtime buffet. I've never been for lunch so not sure if the food is exactly the same as that offered at night but the reason it's much cheaper than the evening one is because there are no characters at lunchtime.

Aaah I'll book it when I get there then, thanks.

Its not an offer, its just the price that shows up so I'm thinking if its only £9 cheaper than what was quoted for this year, i might book it soon so it doesn't rocket up but do you think its a good price for 5 days at HNY?

I may start treating myself to a few new bits then soon lol

You've not actually mentioned the quote given. I've never used Disneyland Paris Direct, although for our trip they were about £50 or so more than the official site.

The offer showing up on the official site for June 2012 is at 15% so presume thats what DLPDirect are also quoting, guess it's just a game of chance that we all take either book early or wait until a better offer might come up but I would usually work on the basis of if the price comes within my budget then I'll book, if not, wait and see if it gets better

If you mean the price I was quoted for on the other website, it was the same as Disneyland Paris's own website but what I was amazed at was the price of the suites as when I rang up a few months ago enquiring about this June, it went from £1046 to about £2800 !!
This one now says its only an extra 300 pounds or so

That sounds a good deal for the empire state room, though I've never been so can't really say if it's a good price or not, perhaps someone who's been could give you a price comparison, but it sounds good to me.

I've just checked the disneyland paris direct website against the official one for our trip and it's exactly £200 more with Disneyland Paris Direct than booking on the official site so perhaps its a bit hit and miss with the pricing.
