This will be my first solo trip to WDW and I need transportation from MCO to WL. I am meeting friends there.

Here are my questions:

How much will a cab cost?
How much will Mears cost me?

Is there any other ideas I might be able to take advantage of? ME is out of the question since I am not staying onsite. I am just meeting them there.

TIA for your opinions and information! :wizard:

A cab will cost in the vicinity of $55 plus gratuity, give or take.

Mears one-way transfer will cost $17 per person, plus gratuity.

Awesome Chip N Dale!

Thank you for the quick reply :)
I actually did some checking and see that using FL Tours one way is roughly $55 not including gratuity as well. Is there something you suggest? How reliable is the Mears one way transfer? Doesnt seem like I can beat the $17 deal! So why should I not use them?
Pardon my inquiries, but this is my first time going without having transportation already lined up. It seems that I will only need to find my own way to the resort since my friends will be dropping me off on my return trip. So I really wouldnt mind spending $60-$65 total if I have to. I do want to get to the WL ASAP so I can meet up with them and head to the parks after I check in at my hotel.
Once again, thanks for your advice!

It's all a matter of personal preference.

If I had to choose between a taxi and a towncar, I'd go for the towncar. It'd be around the same price, but just a bit nicer.

Choosing between Mears and a Towncar... that's something only you can decide. The Mears shuttle may make a few other stops, as it is a shared ride service. But then again, it's also less than 1/3rd the price.

So, would you rather treat yourself to a fancy ride, or treat yourself to a $40 dinner or merchandise item?
