A Few Questions about POP

My DH and I just decided last night that we are going to go to Disney for a short little vacation in July. We will be there July 25th-27th. We previously stayed at the WL for our honeymoon in Feb. We are going to drive this time, and we figure that it's gonna take about 16hrs from here in IL to get to WDW. We think we'll arrive sometime around 10pm. Do we need to tell them that we are going to be late making it in? Also does anyone know what time the food court closes? I'm not sure if we should grab something on our way in to POP or not. I figure we'll probably be hungry after all that driving. We also reserved a Preferred building with an AP rate. Should we request anything else? Thanks for all your help. These boards helped us so much for our honeymoon planning.

The foodcourt closes at midnight. Have them make a note on your reservation that you will arrive around 10pm, so they can have everything ready for you when you arrive. Have a great vacation!

I would call and just have them note it on your reservation just in case, though you shouldn't have to do that.

Since there is very limited food court items that late, I wouldn't bother but instead grab something decent outside of WDW before you arrive. You should drive past several places. The food will be better and MUCH cheaper than the food court. =)
