Hey all, my BF and I are planning on going to US/IOA on Sunday 3/15 and Monday 3/16. We will have the parkhopper passes or whatever they're called. Does it make a difference which day in terms of crowd levels we visit each park? We want to go on almost everything except for big coasters and yes I know IOA has a bunch of big coasters. (I would go on them but BF's a bit of a wuss!) I was thinking IOA on Sun. and US on Mon.
Also, our hotel reservations aren't set yet. I see you can stay on-site for just one night and use the room key on both days to get on rides faster but how does that work? You don't have to return the key the next day at check-out time around 11am? And can I check-in early on Sunday morning just to get the key then come back later in the day and get the actual room? Confused here, hope I'm making sense. Didn't really want to buy express passes if we stay off-site unless we really need them.
Thanks.

Yes...staying on site one night gets you two days of express access by showing your room key. You can check in and get your key before the parks open. Then get your room later when it's ready. When you check out the next day you KEEP YOUR KEY. That way you get express access all that day also.

if you still want to do the coasters, go thru the single line and let bf wait for you.

the single line is a very short wait.

i use it instead of the fotl card for express many times.
