I joined the Dis for tips on planning for our son's first trip to Disney World, set for fall 2012. But the more I read here, the more anxious I was to get back to Disney sooner! (I think this may be a common problem.
) Hubby and I made a whirlwind trip in January, hitting all four parks in two days. It was crazy, but we loved it! And just last night, we decided to do it again! I mean, we need another preview trip before we take DS, right? Just to check everything out...make sure it's safe and all that.
Who: Princess Genevieve, 30, and Prince Tristan, 32
What: Celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot
When: Arriving in the World Tuesday, January 31, checking out Friday, February 3
Where: Staying at the All-Star Music Resort
Why: Because we like you! Er...you know what I mean.
Dining Reservations: Akershus at 5:30 p.m. on 2/1 and Cinderella's Royal Table at 6:40 p.m. on 2/2
I've been to Disney World probably half a dozen times, but January was only DH's second trip.
I can't BELIEVE we managed to get Cinderella's Royal Table on such short notice, and I'm also thrilled that hubby agreed (suggested even!) that we do two very girlie ADRs.
I know DS, who will be 4 when we take him in October, would not enjoy a Princess meal (he's definitely a Cars/Wall-e kind of guy!), so I'm a little more excited than a 30-year-old probably ought to be about doing two royal dinners! I'm a little bummed that we will miss the Main Street Electrical Parade due to our ADR, but having our anniversary dinner in the Castle will be worth it!
