You guys are the best and because of these great MYW dining reports, I have changed our ressies to include this. So being the obsessive planner that I am I have read and read and searched for all the info I might find useful so here are a few questions. :flower:

Say at WCC you get the skillet do you still get app and dessert? Since its sort of a buffet?

LTT is a TS and TS include dessert, so you do you get dessert at LTT?
because in the past dessert was extra.

In your opinion what is the best counter service for breakfast? we have typically done character breakfasts but will try CS for breakfast and TS for evening time to maxamize MYW. Haven't heard much on the Fun and Food Court, sounds like Main Street Bakery is good. How about these and where else?

FYI we are a family of 4 me, DH, DNephew 15, DS 5 staying at CR in December.

Thanks you guys are the best :cool1:

WCC - you still get an appetizer and dessert unless it is part of the skillet. Dessert was not when we were there in late April. I can't remember about the appetizer, think it was the corn bread with the skillet. I was the only one that got the skillet. The skillet is a meal, not a buffet, although it is served as family style. Not everyone at your table needs to chose it and therefore someone else can chose a different appetizer, my dh had the loaded Nachos as his but of course we all ate them.

LTT - since it's a table service, dessert is included on the plan. It should be any dessert they offer, BUT they may not offer you the menu with all of them. We had occassions where the dessert sampler or fondue were not listed on the menu given after the meal but we had seen them displayed so ordered them w/o a problem.

Main Street Bakery - to use it as a snack you only get the prepackaged things - Mickey Rice Crispy treats, bottled beverages, regular chips, etc. As a counter service they told us you could chose any TWO items plus a small drink. Normally a counter service is three items (the main dish, a side and a dessert). SO we didn't use a counter service there as it really wasn't using the credit wisely in our opinion.

We ate a larger counter service breakfast, and then a large table service meal. Our counter service was at the hotel food court and we ordered the most expensive platter there was, that with the dessert (fruit cup, a danish, quick bread slice, bagel, muffin, etc.) and a drink (choc milk, OJ or juice box that we gave the kids) was more than enough to last us till way past noon. Even the girls who were used to snacks mid morning. We did do Chef Mickey's and Cinderella Table for breakfast on 2 days, but in those instances you are paying for the experience as much as the food. We still ate more than $550 worth of food over the cost of our dining plan (9 nights, 2 adults, 1 five yr old, one free 2 1/2 yr old) and all of us ate great.

Of course this is now a few months ago and it sounds like a few of these rules may change...

You aren't the only over planner! I was wondering the same thing about WCC.

The other thing that I was wondering is if you can get an individual pizza or flatbread can be ordered as an appetizer at Mama Mel, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, etc.
