We've heard a lot about Charley, many here have met Charley, personally, face to face. Thought I would try to find a few pictures that put a bit of a face on Charley.....

Dan, once again you have provided graphic (no pun intended) photos of life. Hurricanes are the one block to our moving to Florida. We only have cold and some snow here along with a few pesky mosquitoes. We have no right to complain compared to those folks who have had their lives turned upside down by Charley. Thank you.

Dan, out of ALL the pictures you've ever posted here, these were the most moving and heartfelt.

I wish I could be down there to give hugs and asssitant to all these people. My heart really goes out to the elderly down there. So many were affected......

As I sit here looking at all the images, I am speechless. How devastating. My heart breaks for all of those who suffered through this, and all of those who lost their lives.

Those pictures tell the story. What is hard to comprehend is how some buildings are totally flattened and others look like they have only minor damage.

DH said "are you sure you want to move to Florida someday?" I want to move south, but not that far south. Just want to get away from the icey cold winters. BUT if i had my choice of blizzards or hurricanes...I'll take blizzards.
