Hello! We are counting down the days (13) until we check-in at CBR from February 1st - 8th. We are traveling down this time with 10 total family members along with bringing our daughter for her first ever trip to WDW. I just had a few last quick questions that I hope someone can help with. We are trying to make this trip as smooth as possible!

One evening my wife and I are going to go out for a "date night" which will include traveling around to a few bars / lounges (my parents have offered to watch our daughter). Yay, thanks parents!

1.) I have seen online that there are a few special "secret" drinks available at Trader Sam's in California. Are they also available in Florida? Like the new "The Child" themed drink for "Baby Yoda"?

2.) Building on that, is there a full list anywhere of the "secret" (non-menu) drinks available around the Walt Disney World property?

3.) If there are any whiskey / bourbon drinkers on the board, any recommended stops for selection or cocktails? There are a few things we want to try at the Enchanted Rose. Any other unique whiskey / bourbon things on property?

Polite Pig at Disney Springs has a Bourbon bar. It looks very impressive, and my husband enjoyed his bourbon flight.

One of my favorites..it’s not a secret one..is the bourbon breeze.

I haven't heard of any secret drinks, but my husband is a big whiskey/bourbon drinker. Nothing in the lounges come to mind as most of Disney has the standard Knob Creek or Bulleit on their menu. California Grill does have a maple old fashioned, but my husband found it too sweet. But if you get over to Nomad's Lounge in Animal Kingdom definitely have the Tempting Tigress. - Russell's Reserve 10yr Bourbon, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, Tamarind Syrup, and Lime Juice I'm not a whiskey drinker but my husband swears its the best cocktail he's ever had.

@shb5007 my understanding is from what was posted in a Trader Sam's group is that Grog Gotto is not making the Baby Yoda drinks, just the Enchanted Tiki Bar, though i'm not sure why. I will be asking in early Feb when we visit. Some Skippers (bar tenders at TS) will go off menu, some won't. It depends a bit on how busy they are and how friendly you are (my take). I had several off menu drinks at TS: ETB which were all very good, and a fun way to let the Skippers do something different.

I think the ETB may have a better stocked bar. We were able to get both versions of the Kungaloosh at the ETB, but when we asked if they could make them at GG they said they couldn't because they didn't have all the ingredients.

The Ale and Compass Lounge in the Yacht Club has an amazing selection of bourbons and they have a very tasty menu of special drinks they make there as well.

I would agree with that, bummer on the Kungaloosh though that seems like a natural to be able to make, though question would be which recipe would they follow. Grog Gotto seats 51 while Enchanted Tiki Bar is 47, but I’ve read that ETBi is more geared to being a bar, while GG is more focused on on the Disney Magic vs mixology.

ETB could do both versions of the Kungaloosh, my sister got one and I got the other. It didn't seem like GG could do either, though it's been a couple years since we asked. They could have adjusted things since then.

Would agree, if you are looking for Bourbon, Polite Pig has a great selection.
Also, the Edison at night is really fun.
Trader Sams is fun, but you need to either be there 30 minutes before opening, or we have had luck later after 9.

The Outer Rim in CR has some bourbon and whiskey cocktails which I liked. It doesn't seem to ever be that busy so it was nice to go there a couple of times when we were staying there. I can't recall if any of the drinks in Abracadbar on the Boardwalk were bourbon/whiskey, but they did have some nice whiskeys as I recall that DH had one when we were there last month.
