A few ADR questions

Sorry to bump an old thread, but can you let me know how far into your trip you were trying to book Toppolino's?

Also a family of 5 here, trying to decide how deep into the trip we need to push that ADR to have good choices for times. Thanks!!

Good question! 60+4 had very limited availability for Topolinos breakfast (only 11:55am was available). I searched for it on the dot of 6:00am on our ADR reservation date, and this was the only time available. At 60+7 Topolinos breakfast was wide open with lots of times to choose from. This was the only ADR I had trouble booking!

The first availability I saw for March end (Spring break) was day 6 for Topolinos breakfast and I booked dinner easily. We are also a family of 5. Initially no one was interested in ‘wasting time’ for a breakfast ADR and then I put a search for 60+6 days. I would recommend booking around 11:50 am so it doubles as lunch.

A few weeks before our trip I was able to get an ADR of 4 for breakfast around 10:00 am and was able to add one person during checkin (that’s all we did in the am and stacked passes for the evening). You can do a walk up as well, but then don’t get character interaction (but can see them walking?). The food was great and worth it even without characters IMHO.

It was really hard to balance ADRs and Genie*, so I did give up Topolinos dinner ADR on our second HS day (day 6 of our trip).

Also, on our last day I had booked Space220 for lunch but our flights changed (3 hours earlier) so we needed to be out of the park by 1:15 pm. I got Topolinos but when I clicked modify MDE wouldn’t let go of Space220. By the time I cancelled from another device Topolinos adr froze. I saw it pop back up 3 times but MDE would keep freezing and I gave up after 2 hours. So I lost both reservations.
