Pat_Elliott on the TPAS was planning his WDW trip there when there was an unfortunate change of plans. Read about it here and yes, we realize that it is "off-topic" before someone points it out but sometimes compassion for someone less fortunate has to take priority. I think we can set aside our differences for something like this, no?

He posted his home address so we could send Disney pictures and get well wishes. I think that is a great idea, especially since it sounds like his wife will be bedridden for the duration of her pregnancy.

Since I am currently trip-planning, I saw Pat's post over the weekend. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known about it - thanks for posting here for others to see. (when we're not planning a trip - sometimes it's too painful to go to the trip-planning boards!)

Thanks for the post. I don't get over to that board. What a wonderful strong person he is. Life is throughing him so much and he is dealing with. Makes me ashamed of how I can't deal with little setbacks sometime. This sure puts things in perspective.
