Just got home from a 4 night cruise on the Dream. A great time was had by all. Just wanted to offer up a couple of constructive comments.
Had yet another magical disney vacation. More memories that DH and I will cherish FOREVER!
- Stateroom was on deck 10. Early morning of day 2, we could hear them cleaning the deck.
- Location of stateroom was PERFECT! It was great to run to the room to grab something or be able to leave our room a few minutes before we wanted to get to deck 11 for whatever reason.
- Pirate night was a blast! The "It's a Pirate's Life for Me" game was ok. Cool part is that the game included the whole audience so no one felt left out.
- Dining service wasn't as good as dining service on the Magic in 2009. Our assistant server told us that the crew consisted of half new and half "seasoned" crew members. While everyone was polite, there were some basic customer service things that could have been better such as guest services telling you to run from deck to deck for things or not checking to see how dinner was, skipping the offer of ketchup (kids) or coffee after dinner. We still loved it but just wanted to mention those things.
- Blue lagoon dolphin experience was great!
- It's smart to go against the crowd. Stay on the ship while in Nassau or Cast Away Key. You'll be comfortable at the pool, short lines to the Aqua Duck and NO lines while solving the detective cases on the ship.
- Try to hit the movie theater. We watched "Mars Needs Moms" in 3D. Comfy seats and oh so cool 3D!!
