I am loving your reviews but I must say that your frog pics are giving me the heebie jeebies. I literally have chills running up and down my back just thinking about them being near you. And to think I actually considered staying at POR. I'm thinking that's a no-go now.



I am so terrified of frogs that one stopped me dead in my tracks. Not odd you would think except for the fact that it was in the middle of the street and I was in my Jeep with all the windows rolled up. I actually ended up cautiously inching my way around it terrified that it was going to jump on my car.

It's nice to know I'm not the only person afraid of frogs. I've actually never met anyone else.

Its good to meet you, I agree most people are amazed by my fear, it is really strange and it doesnt help me but it is also the one thing my husband is scared off. Two weeks ago I went to my local Post Office and opened my car door to discover a squashed frog !! I mean this thing was bigtime dead, I still had to crawl over and get out of the passenger door to avoid it and then climbed back in the same way. We once had one in our garden, my husband came in white as a sheet and went and got our neighbour to ask him to remove it, he is six foot two and a sturdy man, but his fear was so great the neighbour had to come and get it for him

Okay, here's another update!

Aug 20 - Columbia Harbor House, Sleepy Hollow and Yak and Yeti

Another rainy morning that we started with a few leftover snacks and some tea in our room.
Off we went to the Magic Kingdom which was nice and empty and we were able to fit in a quite a few rides before we headed to Columbia Harbour House for lunch.
We were not really hungry so we decided to split a CS.
Our choice of the day was the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich - white tuna with lettuce and tomato on toasted multigrain bun. It comes with a bag of chips and even though we had this before it always hits the spot. Can't beat a well done tuna sandwich.

For dessert we chose the Apple Crisp, which was nice and reminded us of a dessert we have at home. It would have been even nicer had it been warm.

A few rides later we decided it would be nice to try something new - the Cappuccino Float with vanilla soft serve ice cream. Tom's choice! Well, this was a bit of a disappointment. The coffee was weak and the soft serve didn't work well for us. Most of it ended in the bin.
But coming from a country that has first class "ice-coffee" strong iced espresso with vanilla ice cream, maybe we just chose the wrong thing.

I tried the Tinkerbell Twist Slush - combination of sour apple and watermelon. Well, to be honest I didn't like it at all. Again, bad choice on my part - I am not a big fan of sour apple and I hate watermelon, LOL. But the Tinkerbell name made me want it.

We went back to the resort a little while later to change into something dry, before we headed over to Animal Kingdom for Yak and Yeti and EMH.

Would you go to Boatwright's if you weren't staying at POR? I LOVE crawfish and Creole type like food.

Yes, actually I would. We both enjoyed the food there very much and the server was very nice and helpful. Boatwright's is definitely on our list for next summer!

Oh my, that chocolate cake from Boatwrights looks HEAVENLY! It is calling my name through time, distance and the Internet.

You don't have to limit the frog pictures for our sake. I just try to scroll past them VERY quickly without actually looking at the frog. I appreciate your reassurances that they aren't necessarily everywhere but I'm not sure I can risk it. It would be a serious issue for me to have them outside of my room. As in needing to change resorts serious. I'd never sleep for fear they would get in the bedroom. Hey! I never said it was a rational fear!

Your poor DH! Mine at least isn't afraid of them so he would take care of it for me. I know it's silly to be paralyzed by something like a frog but I just can't help it.

I am really enjoying your food reports & pictures! We stayed at POR for the 1st time in Aug. & when I seen the 1st froggie picture I told my ds "look there is our frog!" We stayed in Oak Manor as well, maybe they like to hang out in that area

Anyway looking forward to more!
