A Dream is a Wish my Visa Makes.... stories & pictures from shopping & laughing

Great wedding and Italy pictures!! Just beautiful!!!

The picture of you guys with the castle in the background is just perfect, you guys are an awesome couple!! And he made the bank with you? Better hang on to him girl!!!

Can't wait to see more pics and to hear about your parent's trip!!!

I have really enjoyed reading you TR so far and cannot wait for more. All the pics are great too.:yay:

Those are both great pics....the first one is classic seeing it for the first time...the second....you guys are the cutest couple:hug:

Thank You :flower3: I needed a little confidence-boost this morning.

Hi Jessica:goodvibes I thought it was about time that I spent some time on here and time posting too! I know my mom told you that my dream is to go to Italy and seeing your pictures makes me want to go right now:rotfl2: I have subscribed to your TR so I look forward to talking to you:hug:

I am SO glad you're here  I think you're gonna love it. Besides, now you can write your own posts & keep up rather than always yelling over for mom to write things... that is, if you can ever wrestle her away from the computer :lmao: In any case, I took extra care and maps, etc. while I was over there to share with you. I know you'll end up going (and soon) so let me know what I can do to help in any way. Who knows, maybe we'll throw you in a wedding dress and do some portfolio work next year!
Either way, im so excited youre here :goodvibes

We opened our Magical Express mail thinking it was our whole package! So after getting us all together (not an easy feat until exams are over) was a good practice run for the real stuff which is hopefully next weekend (when we'll definitely be all together).

I would choose Uncle Walt over glass any day :rotfl:

Uncle Walt it is then, for both of us! Pixie Dust is coming to a mailbox near you very soon... and you better have the camera ready to show all of us!!

Thanks for the lens info. I think I am going to bring my 18mm-55mm and my 50mm 1.2. As much as I love my 70-200 it is so heavy to lug around. Your pictures are all amazing I really love the ones you did of the wedding in Italy..AMAZING!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks! :yay: Be sure and post lots of pictures from your trip - and enjoy that 50mm, that is some GREAT glass. Jacked all the way to 1.2 you get all that dreamy blur in the background... omigosh. Im so excited for you! (and for me, to see what you bring back!)

Those are the two lenses I brought last trip, and probably will again this time. They worked out well for me (though I ended up not carrying my DSLR around as much as I had meant to!)

Jess- looking forward to hearing more about your trip!

Love the picture of your parents' friend- such a great reaction to the best park!

Thanks girlfriend - you can actually see the Epcot Ball (Spaceship Earth, whatever) reflected in his sunglasses. I think im going to doctor it in photoshop a bit and send it back to them. They're back now - and brought tons of gifts for my bday. Ill have to share them with ya!

What a great reaction shot!:thumbsup2

Maybe I got some of my eye from Mom, huh?

Thank You!! He is definitely a keeper :woohoo: and I need a reminder once in awhile... so thanks for the reality check. We're lucky and both very excited about the opportunity of buying by 2012. I need to get back to my TR and actually tell the rest of the story before I get into my parents trip. I am a real slacker on that....

I have really enjoyed reading you TR so far and cannot wait for more. All the pics are great too.:yay:

Thank you so much, that always means a lot to me. Im glad to have you & hope you stick around  Welcome!

Hey Jess! I got my surprise today!! I LOVE it, its so pretty and it's my fav colour!:thumbsup2 My mom was shocked at her gift aswell! She absolutely loves it. If there's any way you could ever meet us at WDW that would be awesome!! I already have my outfit picked out to wear with my scarf when we go to Italy in WS and I'll get my mom to take a pic. (But it would be waay better if you were there to take the pic.) ;) Thanks again so much!

Shan xoxo

Jess....your generosity brought me to tears! You are one of the kindest, sweetest people I know and I will always be thankful for the Boards for bringing us together...I feel such a connection with you and Jasmine said the same thing!!!

The fact that you thought of us while you were halfway around the world and took such time to make packaging so special...they say love is in the details...and that box was full of love...thank you my girl...you are an absolute doll:hug: Oh and I'll be bragging on my PTR about our gifts....;)

Hope all is well...I have a feeling something might be up...if you need to talk, send me a PM

Hugs and kisses
Jacquie XO

:goodvibes Welcome Ladies - I thought of you as soon as I saw them. Im certain Jasmine will rock it out, and you'll end up switching back and forth at some point. Thats the best part... Mom & I buy different things, so we have lots to share & trade.

Either way, I stole this picture from someone else- but this gives you an idea of what the open air markets looked like. I saw Jasmine's first (the ONLY pink one on the street, I swear) and was drawn over. The blue reminded me of your font, Queen :) Either way - Wear them in good health, may they bring you luck & hopefully they carry you all the way to Italy. <3

You are such a sweet person Jess! I also plan to go to Italy, just not sure when :) Italy is my mom's dream trip, so eventually I will get there! I love the picture of the market!

Absolutely fab pictures, and a thoroughly entertaining TR! :thumbsup2

I inherited a few cameras from my dad this year, and my DH and I plan on taking at least two of them with us on our trip in September. He had an amazing eye, and I plan on honoring his memory by doing something he loved best!

Subscribing so I can keep up!:woohoo:

Good Morning! Unfortunately Ive been running around like a crazy person this week, and only had time to read others updates, and not write one of my own. Im working all 3 days this weekend (weddings each day!) But I didnt want to leave you hanging - thinking I would never return :rotfl2:

I have some notes typed up (with the help of Als) and Im ready to get back to the story... I just need the free time to do it. So, before I get that update to you on Monday - here are a few more of my favorites from Italy. (Ill try sneak a few peeks at this weekend's weddings up here too!)

Shoe Store in Parma, Italy. Yes... I spent too much money. Love Ya Kris! :lovestruc

Thanks Hon! Pic of the market isnt mine, I shamefully took it from Google to show Queen & Jasmine what the location looked like when I bought the scarves/pashminas. It was my dream trip too (outside of WDW of course) and I finally made it! So of COURSE you'll go too. My suggestion? Fly into Florence if you can and go north from there! <3

Thank you so much  I think thats an amazing way to remember your Dad - and one I may find myself doing someday as well. My dad isnt a photog. but its definitely one of our most special places. If you get the chance to re.create a favorite image - consider making a memorial canvas or canvas cluster (several different sized canvas pictures- google image search 'canvas clusters') of both old and new photos.

Youre doing a beautiful thing :) and Im glad you're here sharing it with me!! :lovestruc

Pictures of shoes? Fiiiiiiiine. Be warned, there are several. (Baby, you should see the leather boots. I bought two!) Tell Jas to keep a huge portion of her trip money to Italy aside for shopping... it is to DIE for. I'll be in and out of fb a bit, then back next week- im sure we'll reconnect then  bear down in the storm, its almost over. Think Disney thoughts!!

Thank you *so* much (as always) for the ego boost. Im glad you like my pictures!!

Don't apologize, your Italy photos are beautiful and romantic!!:goodvibes

Thank you - its hard to capture the real FEEL of life over there, but I tried.

WOW... Some great photos! :)

Thanks Cheryl! Glad you like them, hope you stick around to see more

Keep em coming I say !:cool1:

Then keep them coming I shall! Maybe some shoe pics, per request ;) and I really do want to get more Disney pics up from the trip. I did some serious shopping and need to show you guys the haul!

xxoo Happy Friday

Just started reading your TR and love it so far. I like the pic of you and your DB with the glowing drink...great pic

Hi friends--

Just wanted to take another chance to post some detail highlights from work- outside of WDW I do actually take photographs for a living :goodvibes That being the case (and since everyone seems to love peeking at some great pics) I thought Id throw in a few of my favorite details from the wedding last weekend at the Ritz Carlton, Boston. I spent this past weekend in Stowe, VT working on an engagement shoot at the Von Trapp Family Lodge Friday, and then a wedding at the Green Mountain Inn on Saturday. Got home a few minutes ago and finally got into a hot shower!

Anyway- im uploading more pics to keep my TR cookin' along. I should have an additional post for you later tonight - DH and I are heading out to have sushi with his coworker around 6p, and im going to use the car-time to bring up a potential October trip in the works... Im thinking he'd be MORE swayed by a PIN code - but I might just beg for the chance to start saving and planning another PTR  .... ill keep you posted on that one.

So before I keep rambling- a few of my faves from two weeks ago.

Little dress-detail action...

Thanks! I think it was more the light up blue that attracted me than anything else. Im not a big drinker, but Im like a raccoon when it comes to something shiny... :bitelip: oooohhh glitter.

And I love, love, love your name! Poly for me too!! Im a tremendous fan of the WL (obviously) but I have some serious love for the Poly. I was just in Stowe not that long ago! Knee deep in snow trying to get a shot on a bridge : ) Ill send you a pm with the photography website & blog!

That is a word that is impossible to wear out. I think saying that more than anything else is a good sign! It was just a soggy day outside and I was really trying to document the flood- when I stumbled on it as an accident ;) I wish I could tell you I had creative divine intervention and it sang to me. It was totally a snap on a whim and it worked out!

Just found you TR... Your title got me hooked!!! I love my Disney Visa!!! :lovestruc

And your photos are amazing!!! :thumbsup2

Thank You! :cutie: I love my Disney Visa too - Im hanging tough on my castle design that looks like the year of a million dreams.

Oh I agree! We definitely need some shoe porn! :rotfl: I would be dangerous in that store if I could fit into the shoes  I'm blessed with small feet, so I have to wear kids shoes :guilty: LOVE the Italy pics! I've been talking to my mom about going and I think we are going to try to go for my 21st birthday!
