A Dole Whip in my hand & my toes in the sand: CBR/Poly Split Stay – This Is The Life!

Yes maybe it was a good thing you did not ask IPO for Mt Dew, they might have punished you for saying the bad words and given you the room with the ugly tree view. :rotfl2:

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too Shelly

Thanks for the info on the sink Shelly.

You are one of my many DIS friends that I am thankful for.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Your room looks exactly liked mine!! Our bathroom layout was a little different and we had no robes, but the rooms are the same...they are huge aren't they?!!

Ahhh the Polynesian! BEAUTIFUL! I love all your room pictures! :cloud9:
Don't worry about not posting, it's a holiday week! Have a great Thanksgiving!

Great update Shelly on your moving day into the Poly!

Love your room and the pictures! You never miss a thing!

Sea :cool1:

We really just missed each other. B/C of hurricane Irene we had to stay 2 more days, so we ended up leaving the day before you checked in. We were in Tokelau 3rd floor. I thought the CL room would look a little different too but it looked exactly the same as ours. Can't wait for more Poly!!! Happy Thanksgiving :)

Shelly, are you sure you weren't born in the south? I think your addiction to Mt. Dew qualifies you as an honorary southerner! Seriously, people around here are obsessed with Mt. Dew. We even saw a TV special on it one night about how so many people in the south have rotten teeth because all they drink is Mt. Dew! :rotfl: I am not kidding! :lmao: So don't drink too much of it, or then you'll look like one of us too!

The Poly looks so awesome! The room seems so big! I can't wait to see all your picture from around the resort. I've been there several times, but always at night so I haven't really seen all the beauty there.

I'm so glad you got a good room. I can just picture you guys out there lounging and taking in the gorgeous scenery. :cloud9: I'm ready to see that pool too! :worship:

I know I told you before but I love the buckets for the kids! Very nice touch!

Rinky Your post made me laugh, one year I visited a friend in WV and there sat pappy with his morning cup of coffee and in the other hand a can of Mt Dew.

Hello TR friends!!

How is everybody doing??? I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving. :goodvibes

We have been away since Tuesday after school. Made the long drive down to Charlotte NC to visit family over the holiday. That was the longest car trip the kids have ever been on. They did very well. But none of us really care for car travel. So we won't be driving to WDW anytime soon. :rotfl:

We got home last night. Put up the Christmas tree today and did a ton of laundry and got groceries and all that fun stuff. Hope to get caught up on the DIS over the next few days!! :yay:

Hi Shelly! :wave2: Boy, you did go a long way for Thanksgiving dinner! ;) How many hours of driving is it to Charlotte? And did Jack go to the grandparents' this time? ;) Good for you getting your tree up already! You're way ahead of me!

We had a very nice holiday. DS and his dog (that could be a whole page, but I will spare you ) and DD and her boyfriend came for a couple of nights. We spent Thursday afternoon at my cousin's house, and Thursday evening at DH's sister's house. Ate waaayyy too much. :guilty:

Friday was tailgating, football, and more tailgating, so that took care of the whole day. Geaux Tigers!! :cheer2: No Black Friday shopping for me!

Saturday was my day to do nothing, and today I am cleaning the aftermath of the weekend! Hopefully tomorrow we can begin decorating for Christmas. Haven't decided whether to go real or go fake on the tree this year.

Looking forward to more TR updates!

Welcome home! Glad you had a nice visit with family!
I'm dreading the road trip to Florida. We've even changed our plans to leave a day early to avoid the kids losing sleep so we don't have a repeat of our last road trip. I wish we were flying!!!!

I didn't know you have family in Charlotte! See, I KNEW you had southern roots! And that explains the Mt. Dew obsession!

So did you guys do anything fun while you were in my neck of the woods?

Glad you had a safe trip and a nice Thanksgiving!

Gee Shelly, you were half way to Florida!!! Hope you had a good time!

Half of my family loves driving to WDW (or anywhere) and DD10 and I are the other half. We are both similarly impatient people. It's so hard for us! But DH does most of the driving so he's fine. Paige likes it. Not sure why. She's so much more laid back! Sadly, it appears that we will be driving in October.

Inquiring minds want to know...

Does turkey taste better in the South?????;)

Glad your trip was a wonderful time and you were able to spend it with family.

I put my tree up on Saturday!! Did something I've never done before. I said Self, you don't feel like going all out for Christmas this year- don't buy a real tree.

And so I didn't.:scared1: I've never NOT had a live tree and this year we just went shopping in our own basement. Pulled out one of the artificial trees we use for decorating in another room and Wallah.:lmao:(I know that isn't how you spell it.;););)) Instant tree.

:yay:

As for Black Friday-- didn't buy anything then either. I've spent about $100 since Tuesday of last week and it's been on eating out.

I've been very very good to myself and my checkbook.:lmao:

PS----
Teri- The crying and gnashing of teeth in this town after that beatdown was hysterical. And can I say that BP is Klassy as ever with that nasty comment, not to mention the handshake? We see him a lot in Starbucks here and, well... my mama said if you can't say anything nice, um, well, you know...................

Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone!

Glad to see everyone is back here safe and in one piece.

And no, I didn't get pepper sprayed, beat up at H&M, or found dead in a mall fountain (all the things that occurred in the LA area on Black Friday).

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Sea :cool1:

Wow we did just miss each other.

Nope, I think the CL rooms are pretty much the same as the others.

More Poly coming up soon!

 You know, when I was in the south over Thanksgiving I learned that most of the restaurants down there serve Coke products and not Pepsi. :scared1: :faint: I couldn't believe it!!

I actually only drink 1 Mtn Dew a day. With lunch. If I don't I get a headache and can't make it through the day! :scared1:

Lots of Poly coming up. We enjoyed every minute of being there!! :lovestruc

Poly looks gorgeous!

Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanks Kim! :goodvibes Are you all ready for your big trip???:yay:

We did go a long way for Thanksgiving dinner!! About 500 miles to be exact! :faint: You know, if you could cut WV out of that trip it really wouldn't be bad. WV goes on FOREVER!!

I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with your kids and your grand-dog! ;)
