We just booked this cruise about 2 months ago, so I don't have to wait as long as some of you!
Traveling with my DH, DS (20), DS (17) and DD (10). Haven't been on DCL since 2001!

I can't imagine a better way to ring in the new year!

Is it poor etiquette to suggest your hometown postcards as a FE goodie for adults well really for me. I like to attach a magnetic to the postcard and place it on our door..... then every DC we take we can add to the collection. Just a thought...I just see that we have representation from all over including overseas!!!! Its the little things that make me smile

Hey, request away! I will have to do a little searching to get ours but I'm sure I can find one around somewhere. I think our public library has some.

I think I am all caught up now. Ugh... Thank goodness I have grading to procrastinate from or I might never have updated the FE list! We are having a Disney day at school on Thursday and I think I am going to where a DCL from our Alaska trip. Though I thought about wearing our new family cruise shirts. I thought I would share... You ought to be able to spot us!

I hope everyone is starting to get excited. Tomorrow marks the 3 month mark. It will all be down hill from here. Reminder final day to join the Fish Extender list is Oct 15th. Take a moment to look at Post 41 and make sure we have all of your info and it is accurate. I want to begin filling holes and soon as possible. Thanks for all of your help.

Do any of you have any ideas of what may be happening New Year's Eve night? Was thinking about dinner reservations at Palo but didn't want to miss out on something fun with the kiddos.

No problem. Just one more "iron in the fire!" The onboard Meet & Greet is scheduled for 12/29 at 5:00pm-5:45pm at the Vista Cafe (Deck 4, Midship). This will be after the mandatory boat drills and right before early dining. As with all cruises, your participation is entirely up to you but, it is nice to meet all the folks who we have been chatting with for these many months. I know that after the meet & greet, we see one another all the time on the ship. It's great fun. This is a family event, ALL are welcome.

One last thing and I'll shut up for a while. I am hoping to get the two lists to balance by Oct 13, right before the cut off date. Please, please get your info in to us as soon as possible. Preferably posting your info here and on the Google spreadsheet. In all actuality, the holes are getting filled up but I will take it line by line to make sure we have everything.

Here is a copy of last years Personal Navigator. They did not do fireworks on pirate night to save it for New Years, so fireworks were at midnight. Hopefully this helps your planning.

except we are itinerary B which means it's Nassau (Pirate Night)--Sea Day (NYE)--CC. I like that we're at sea NYE and on the beach to recover NY day! Excited to have brunch at Palo NYE.

Hi all!

Its been a great summer! Breakaway Haven, Long Beach Island, and just came back last week from 8 nights at GFVs. Now to plan our Dream NYE cruise!

Ill be reading up this week and next and see if I can do the FE. Not sure. Im not crafty and would not have a clue what to do.

Im going with my mom (who is taking my family and my sisters family) and my kids are older. My dd will be 2 months shy of 21 and a 16 yo ds. My sister has three young boys all under 10.

I did our PAT for our three cabins on Friday and got the 1030 am time. We are staying at Contemporary and my family staying at BLT. My dd and I are leaving Dec 26 and my family leaving a day or two later since my ds has baseball showcase. My mom and sister coming on Dec. 27.

We are seasoned cruisers but sail on NCL and RCCL. This is only our third DC. We took the Wonder in 2000 and Dream in 2012.

We are not booking any excursions this trip nor are we doing any specialities which is what we usually do but since its a shorter cruise will have dinners as a family with mom and sisters family. Our only "must do" is my dd told us (my dh and me) that she wants to go to Senior Frogs in Nassau so my family of four will be doing that and probably the only ones walking back on the Dream with our Yard Long drink glasses. Lol
