I'm new to this BTW!!!

Hey,

My name is Pete (Disney Freak). I'm 19 and have been to WDW four times prior to this trip. We're going to leave on August 11th, but won't be checking in until the 12th because we're driving from New Jersey......with my Dad's Escalade (The Escalade), haha.

I'm also going with my friend...

Jen (Just a Freak), 18, who gave me full control of booking this trip. Shes a little "Disney Confused." She doesn't understand why MGM is owned by Disney (don't ask, haha) and for a short period of time thought MGM was owned by Universal. I know, it killed me too, but I've moved on, haha. Oh, and she thought we were staying at "Pop Music" and wanted to stay in the "Dalmation" building. I know you DISers are biting your lips, but pace yourself! Her first time in Disney was March for senior trip, so I/you can't really blame her. OR CAN WE??? Hahaha.

As I've said, we both went to WDW for our senior trip for 4 nights at All-Star Sports. But the problem was we were on a VERY tight schedule and were forced to do non-Disney stuff along the way. Oh, and we were with people who smelled (our fellow peers). So we just decided about two weeks ago to go on our own. We're like, ya no what, we couldn't do anything on senior trip, think about the freedom we'll have if we go on our own. So we booked it about 2 weeks ago and are going from August 12th-18th at All-Star Music.

I would stay tuned to our trip report because all we do is end up in the weirdest possible situations. We joked that SOMEHOW driving down we're going to end up in Japan (not the one in EPCOT!!!).

Thanks for reading!

Update: We added an extra night to our trip. Were staying at Coronado Springs Resort for the last night!

only 19 and a full-fledged disney nut! you're parents brought you up right! you'll have tons of fun.
already sounds like to enjoy "tinkering" with trip. read hubby nebo's reports, and you'll see tinkering is great. we once added 3 nights, one at a time (with very good reason, of course!) you'll love coranado, and you might as well add one more night now!
there are 3 sections: ranchos, cabanas, and casitas. whichever one you are in, make sure to walk THROUGH the casitas as night (not along the promenade... THROUGH them) plenty fountains, rotundas, gardens, etc.. beautiful!
have fun kids!
