A Disney Filled Spring Break-4 Parks & a Magical Cruise! *New 12/11- Completed!*

I'm back to give a little attention to my poor, neglected report. Tomorrow I'll be back at Disney World. I had hoped to be much further along with this trip report before leaving for this next trip but we know how those best laid plans go. Oh well....

I'll pick back up with France. We caught a snippet of Belle in her blue dress as we made our way into France...

The Beauty and the Beast topiary were fantastic!

Nanny and Mrs. Potts!
ry%3D480

Speaking of Nanny, I've recently invited her to join me on my trip to Paris and London the last week of September. She's coming along! We have our flights taken care of. And I've booked a hotel for a few nights at Disneyland Paris. I still need to choose a hotel for a few more nights in Paris. Exciting stuff!

LOVE these!

This guy had us going that he was our long, lost cousin Jericho. Reagan and my mom were talking with him first and I came mid-conversation. It took me a minute to realize he was pulling our legs. But before it was all said and done I told him we needed his picture for the family scrapbook...

Welcome back. Have an amazing time on your trip!:banana::banana:

How great that Nanny will be joining you in September :)

All the topiary are so awesome!

Great pics with Winnie the Pooh & Tigger.

The 2 pictures of Reagan riding with Nanny are adorable!

Wonderful pictures at the Visa Character Spot too!

I'm back from another really great Disney World vacation! I can't get enough! It was a fabulous time documented in just over 2,000 pictures (eek!). I look forward to sharing them here eventually. For now I'll continue on with sharing the March trip.

During our Epcot day we went on the Figment ride for the first time. We have a small Figment trading pin collection that made us curious about this attraction. We were looking forward to it!

On our way over we came across this adorable Tinker topiary! The surprises on every path are definitely one of the best parts of the Flower and Garden Festival!

Tinker!

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

We enjoyed Figment Journey into Imagination. I don't know if we'll have to do it every visit but I know I feel more "Disney complete" for experiencing it!
ry%3D480

This Figment picture as you exit the ride is adorable!
ry%3D480

We spent a bit of time in the Imageworks, too...
ry%3D480

Nanny and Reagan at one of the exhibits...
ry%3D480

Reagan tried a few of the other exhibits as well...
ry%3D480

When we exited into the gift shop Reagan was in the mood for a bit of shopping. There was a personal, key-chain fan that he couldn't leave without...
ry%3D480

Back outside enjoying beautiful Epcot! It really is a gorgeous time there. It was nice in June, too but nothing compared to how exquisite the spring flowers are during the festival.
ry%3D480

We were all a bit hungry so we headed to Mexico for some counter service. We had a really yummy meal and I was Pixie Dusted! There was an extra Mangorita that no one picked up so the cashier told me I could have it if I would like to. Yes, please!! Thanks! Everything was scruptious! It was at this meal that I encouraged Reagan to have his first soda with caffeine. It was all part of my plan to help him last through illuminations. It worked.... He was very, very chatty though.
ry%3D480

Looking across at World Showcase...
ry%3D480

It was beginning to get dark.
ry%3D480

We had a few more F&GF highlights to take in before Illuminations... Up next!

I really wanted to see the Monster's University and Cars areas of the Flower and Garden Festival.... preferably before dark. We set off in their directions. Along the way there was a exhibit showing creative flower and vegetable gardening that translates to our own homes. My mom was actively planning her own gardens for home and really enjoyed this area.

This raised table gardening was very clever...

ry%3D480

The topiary did not disappoint...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Between trying out the play equipment Reagan humored me by posing for a pic... Look at Mike's braces! the details melt me...
ry%3D480

Back to playing. It was an awesome playground!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Monorail red zoomed past nearby....
ry%3D480

The next area I was set on finding was the Cars playground. We were on the right path....

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

We headed back towards World Showcase to find a spot for Illuminations. We passed the lovely Fantasia displays along the way...
ry%3D480

We found a spot for Illuminations and Reagan ate some more of his chicken from dinner in Mexico while waiting for the show to start....
ry%3D480

Although none of my Illumination pics came out very well we enjoyed the show overall. It isn't my favorite night time Disney World show but it is special none-the-less.
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Good Night to Epcot!
ry%3D480

Back to the hotel now! We needed a good nights sleep before boarding the Disney cruise the next day. The morning before the cruise coming up next!

Glad you had a great trip and can't wait to hear about it!

Nice getting a free margarita! Glad the soda plan worked ;)

Glad you enjoyed the rest of the night! Can't wait to hear about the cruise portion!

Later on this day we would be checking out of Pop and boarding the Disney Magic. When we return to DisneyWorld following the cruise we check in at an All Star Resort so this morning was my last easy chance to explore Pop Century. While my Mom and Reagan were still sleeping I took in all the lovely Pop details!

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Some great Disney memorabilia...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

I really adored this resort. I'm beginning to think deep down I'm a value resort sort of girl. I'm not sure what that says about me....
ry%3D480

If you can remember way back in the beginning of this trip report I was pixie dusted by getting to dress Duffy for the day in the Everything Pop store. Reagan had asked me the day before if I thought maybe he could do that, too. This morning when he woke up we walked over to see if it was a possibility. He got lucky and it was!

Reagan and Duffy!
ry%3D480

He looked through Duffy's closet and made his choice...
ry%3D480

Getting Duffy's hat on...
ry%3D480

Looks like a space ranger!
ry%3D480

To Infinity and Beyond!
ry%3D480

Reagan's certificate for dressing Duffy!
ry%3D480

And they make a second certificate to display with Duffy. Really a fun idea for guests!
ry%3D480

We looked around the store a bit, too...
ry%3D480

Reagan had a cinnamon roll for breakfast.

We had decided that once we were packed and ready to go that we'd make a quick stop in Downtown Disney before heading to the cruise port.... up next!

Glad to see you back here and continuing on with your trip report! :goodvibes

Reagan is such a doll. It's fun to read about your travels, can't wait to see and read about your cruise!

I'm a value resort kind of girl too. When we go, we are rarely in the room ~ sleep, shower and get back out the door. I can't justify the higher rates. I'd rather have more $ for other things. Plus, the Value themes are just much more fun. Pop Century is our favorite. We've stayed near the Mickey Phone, Play-doh, Tramp and the Foosball Table/Field. We've also stayed at All Star Movies, and while it was fine, we like Pop Century better.

Keep writing! Even if we don't always comment, we are reading! popcorn::

Wow! I am super impressed by your craftiness! Everything you made is just spectacular...

I was kind of bummed your little guy got tuckered out and missed all the fun at MK. I'm glad the scooter worked out the next day. I am amazed at how much you got accomplished, the crowds looked so low on your trip. When was it exactly?

I also love your photography. I think I would like to learn how to take quality photos (move beyond my phone) before my next trip... Good thing I have almost three years! :headache:

I can't wait to read about the cruise!

At this point in the morning it was time to check out from Pop Century and move on with our day. We were heading to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Magic but we wanted to make a quick stop at Downtown Disney before leaving Orlando. We were there our first night but it was after a long day of travel. We were all ready to get to the hotel that night. I was looking forward to visiting in the daytime.

Reagan was hungry so we grabbed a cinnamon roll from the resort for him before leaving.
ry%3D480

On the drive from POP to DTD Reagan changed Duffy into his sailor outfit which was perfect for boarding the ship later that day!
ry%3D480

When we arrived at Downtown Disney we were greeted with this lovely flower pot scene!
ry%3D480

Nanny gave Reagan some souvenir money and Reagan decided the Lego store was the place to go with it...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

I enjoyed seeing all the Lego displays in the daylight...
ry%3D480

Reagan made his purchases and was ready to see the rest of Downtown Disney...
ry%3D480

He took my picture with a Lego friend before we left...
ry%3D480

This Lego family on display is so adorable!
ry%3D480

We also looked around Once Upon a Toy some...
ry%3D480

The Duffy section there is great!
ry%3D480

We discussed getting this outfit for Duffy but decided against it. It would have been perfect for Pirate Night on the cruise!
ry%3D480

We spent a few minutes in the Pin Trading store...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

We stopped in at Goofy's Candy Co. for a few sweet treats!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Both sides of this last one were cute!
ry%3D480

We were done at Downtown Disney and it was time to head to the cruise ship! It is about a 45 minute drive. Before long we began to see signs...
ry%3D480

And a couple minutes later our ship came into view!!
ry%3D480

We left our car at a Park-n-Cruise lot nearby and they dropped us at the cruise terminal. We were all excited to be boarding! Nanny!
ry%3D480

... and Reagan!
ry%3D480

I'm about at my picture limit so I'll stop here and pick up with boarding the ship in my next entry!

We were all so excited to be boarding the ship! Embarkation went very smoothly.

We checked out this model of the Magic that they had on display in the check in area. Reagan spent a lot of time studying this. I had to pull him away to complete his check in portion. One of the sides is solid like this...
ry%3D480

The other is open to the inside so you can see the inner workings! Very cool...
ry%3D480

After entering through the mouse ears....
ry%3D480

.... that long awaited moment of having your family's name announced as you enter the ship had arrived. Cast members are lined up to welcome you....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

This adorable bronze statue also greets you!
ry%3D480

We wanted to check out our room and put our stuff away. I was tickled to see Mickey's hand pointing to the different floors at the elevator!
ry%3D480

Atrium view...
ry%3D480

We were really happy with our home away from home during the cruise!

Sitting area that converted to a single bed...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Love the Disney pillow.... and how they flip it at bedtime!
ry%3D480

Desk and TV area...
ry%3D480

Split bath...
ry%3D480

And one of the pictures on the wall...
ry%3D480

We noticed in the Navigator that there was a bit of an open house in kids club. Reagan and I went to check it out. I was SO glad we did because this is one of the only times they let adults in and the only time to take pictures of the area.

As you approach posters give you a bit of a preview...

Our favorite part of kids club was Andy's Room. It's perfect! This entry is going to be basically pictures only showing this area we enjoyed so much.

Disney ships are so beautiful! Would love to take my grandkids on a Disney cruise one day :goodvibes:goodvibes All of the rooms in the Kids Club are so cute - would be so fun to be able to decorate our own kids/grandkids' rooms like that!

Great Pop photos! SO great that Reagan got to dress Duffy, he picked a great outfit! :)

Going to DtD sounds like it was a nice thing to do before heading to the cruise!

Nice room and cute pics of the Kids Club, especially Andy's Room!

After exploring the kids club area we headed off to see some more of the ship and more importantly Reagan needed ice cream!
ry%3D480

We had to take a break from the exploring to take part in a quick life boat drill..
ry%3D480

After that it was almost time for the sail away show so we stayed pretty near the pool stage area...
ry%3D480

Reagan had his sail away pom poms at the ready!
ry%3D480

The music and dancing started and shortly after that some of our favorite friends joined the party!

ry%3D480

We stopped back in our room after the sail away show. On our way back I took a picture of the mural that was in one of the staircases...

ry%3D480

Donald's sailor suit...
ry%3D480

There's artwork all over the ship but this particular wall really appealed to me...
ry%3D480

We had arranged a Fish Extender exchange here on the DIS Boards with others cruising on this same sailing. When we returned to our room we had our first delivery. The Disney cups were a favorite gift and we used them a lot on the cruise!
ry%3D480

We freshened up a bit and then took Reagan to meet Captain America! It turns out my mom really likes Captain America and she asked Reagan to get his autograph for her while they were sitting a waiting.
ry%3D480

Reagan did ask him and there was a funny exchange about not having many Grandma's ask for his autograph....
ry%3D480

Once Captain America found out Grandma was close by he insisted Nanny come over for her own autograph and join in the picture, too. She said something very school girl to him along the lines of, "I really love your movies." It was super cute!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

It was getting close to our dinner time so we headed back mid ship. I took another picture of the pretty atrium...
ry%3D480

Dinner on our first night was at Luminere's. That's coming up in the next entry....
