A Disboutique TR - Our first trip to the World!

Wow, great outfits... I really love them...do you mind if I CASE them someday? Sorry about the Epcot weather and day...sometimes you just need some down time. I know when we went for a week, we needed a hotel night midweek just to relax. Love the pics and can't wait for more! :goodvibes

Of coures not, CASE away!!

I hear you on the sharpees! WHYYYYYY? My kids all had multi-colored ink hands which don't wash out! Not to mention if it gets on their clothes...which took hours to make! I need to try harder to divert away from kidcot since the switch over to permanent markers.

I vote to bring my own Crayola washables next time. (mental note)

Soarin is my most favorite ride! I really was a little disappointed in the Nemo ride...but it's likely I was just too tired to be "wowed".

I hate puny strollers for Disney too. Except, this last time we had bought our new pink MacLeron "umbrella" stroller which was a DREAM! Lightweight and folded super easy (for the busses and such). Plus it was PINK :cutie: Norah is now a preschool-sized kid and the Mac is deemed perfect for her bigger kid size.

My only complaint: No drink holder :rolleyes1

I just got caught up. Love Matthew's face in the picture where he is looking up at Pooh bear! And how fun that Emily got to parade around with Pooh bear! I also love her Epcot outfit! I hear you on the Sharpies! My kids loved the whole Nemo aquarium area too.

How sweet that Emily got Daddy all to herself for a while! I love the Epcot outfits, absolutely adorable!

How cool that you got to see Tinkerbell fly off the castle. The last time we went to Disney, Tessa was 2 1/2 and she was obsessed with Tinkerbell. So, she was SOO excited to see her fly off the castle. But, it was too windy! She still says "When we went to Disney, it was too windy for Tinkerbell to fly off the castle." I'm REALLY hoping we get to see her in May!

Bring on the Princesses!!!

It was sprinkling when we left for dinner. We get to the park and wouldn't you know it, it started to rain harder! We found shelter under a cart that was closed. We hoped the rain would stop. It didn't. So after about 10 minutes under the awning of thew cart, we hightailed it to the China (I think) pavillion for some better shelter. Bob had put a poncho over Emily's stroller and I was trying to cover Matthew in his stroller with my umbrella. Matthew was soaked! For some reason Bob had put socks on with his crocs and his toes were pruning! Emily was pretty cozy!

The rain let up a little so we left our strollers at the China Pavillion. Luckily Emily woke up just before we were ready to go. She was still a little out of it. We got to the restaurant and my SIL's party was already there waiting to be seated (escaping the rain) They were trying to get her to come over to them and see what princess was there - Emily just ignored them! Wouldn't even look their way! We were seated right away and she perked up when she saw who was greeting her!

The dinner at Akerhaus was not the best, but really we weren't there for the food! Bob didn't have much of an appetite (because of his cold) which was probably for the best. I had the Lamb stew which was pretty good. And Emily had pizza. (again!) I could see the princess as they came out. I would let Emily know a new one came out and she would start squealing!!

I told Emily that she should ask Ariel to see her feet, and she was so excited to. So when Ariel came arond and she got shy, I sad "Is there anything you want to ask Ariel?" So she turned to look at Ariel, holding her hnds and says..."Ariel, You're my favorite princess" and gave her a big hug!

When we had first sat down, I asked the server if Snow White was there - she replied that it would be a surprise. I was sooo happy to see her!! She is Emily's favorite!!

Matthew loved the princesses too! He was trying to feed Snow White his hot dog.

BTW - that s a combination of rain and drool on his shirt! He was playing around with his drink and the straw.

It as still raining after dinner, and since Emily didn't like the fireworks the night before, we decided to call it a night. The kids got baths to help them warm up after being soaked (Matthew)!!

Cute pics of the kids with the princesses. I like the one with Matthew and Snow White at the end. :) And Emily sure did look cozy in that stroller!

That's so sweet that Emily squealed over the princesses! I love that Matthew was trying to "share" his hot dog! :rotfl: Another great update and wonderful pictures!!

I just found your TR, and I've loved reading it. Great pictures, and great job on the customs!

We also learned that Emily does not like the 3d shows! She didn't really like It's tough to be a bug at AK, but we gave it another chance with Honey, I shrunk the audience. Nope - she hated it, and Matthew wouldn't sit still! No more long shows for us!
Jenna hated the 3-D shows too. She wouldn't wear the glasses at all.

Your children are adorable! The outfits you made are beautiful!! I wish I could sew! Love all the pics too!! Looks like you had a wonderful time!!!

Last Park Day! :(

Hollywood Studios

We woke up and once again checked on the weather. Scattered showers were the forecast so we once again packed the umbrellas and ponchos. We decided to stay at the park all day, so Emily's set for 1900 Park Fare went in the bag too.

The day started off great!! We were pleasantly surprised to find a very short walk from the buses to the park!! (Why can't all the parks be like this?!) We strolled down Main Street and came upon my MIL, 2 neices and youngest nephew. (SIL had ADR's at Hollywood and Vine at the same time as us - but the rest of the group were riding Rockin Rollercoaster.) MIL took Jillian and Emily in a shop to let them pick out anything they wanted. They both picked a red princess crown necklace.

Happy Boy - I think he was laughing at my nephew. Matthew loves his cousin! He always laughs at him. No idea why, most of the time he's not even doing anything to make him laugh to start with.

H&V was lots of fun and not very busy (I think it was 9:30). The food was good and hot. They had a yummy chorizo and egg skillet that was really good. My BIL says the apple crisp is awesome with vanilla ice cream on it. Yes, he had it for breakfast! Next time I think I would try to book more breakfast ADR's instead of all the dinners. matthew ate NOTHING for breakfast. Very unlike him! He loves pancakes, but wouldn't eat a thing. (Emily ate very little too - she was more intrested in coloring!)

JoJo!!!

I think Leo startled Matthew, he kinda snuck up on him.
