A Daily Lesson in Parenting and Manners: A TR by a real life Wicked Stepmom!

"DAAAAAAADDDYYYYYY!!!! Stop that!!!!"

"DAUGHTER!!! Smile already!!!"

Sweet. As. Pie.

"MissCammie...are you going throw up...again like you did at the mall?"

Teddy piped up "That was SO cool!"

I think the fascination with all things 'vomit' is uniquiely tied to the Y chromosome.

"NO WAY! It was AWESOME. Besides, MissCammie was a PEOPLE seat belt right MissCammie?"

People seat belt = Raisin Bran littered on my keyboard. Not sure how I'm going to explain this one to IT.

"I PAY to be here. I PAID for my TICKETS to this PARK! If I want to sit down ALL DAY at a Table and NEVER ORDER, THAT IS MY RIGHT!"

She sounds like an enraged member of ZZUB's DMVC.

"MissCammie I want us ALL to go on the ride...like a family...together"

That right there is what O'hana feels like when it bites you in the rear.

Great update! popcorn::

Miss Cammie... a couple of things about your last post.

1) There are no calories at Disney...at least that is what I am going to keep telling myself. :rolleyes1

2) I  COP! Just  it! My whole family makes fun of me...but for some reason that has always been my favorite ride at WDW and will be seeing it again in just 2 whole days! :woohoo:

Those kids are just too darn cute. I hope to have children someday as well behaved as your two.

 DH and I also play the "It's Your Turn To Go On Stitch With The Kids" game! We've been known to have a championship round of rock-paper-scissors to see who has to endure this. Eventually, though, the kids want us ALL to do it, and we both end up on the ride together.

I'm very much enjoying your TR so far! Thanks for sharing with us all! Can't wait for the next chapter, but in the meantime....
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day!

Miss Cammie, I am a newcomer to these boards and trip reports, but I just wanted you to know I am LOVING your TR. We are going in December, and I'm afraid we won't have time for COP, and I'm SICK about it!!

One question, since I'm such a noob. What is "RAR"?

Richard

Oh a new installment was JUST what I needed this morning! I can only imagine Sally's face on Stitch- it IS a pretty foul ride after all. And I agree, it should be MANDATORY that people bathe while at Disney- well, really, everywhere, btu especially in the house of the mouse :thumbsup2

Eagerly awaitng the next chapter :surfweb:

Richard

this was funny and I had to respond even though I supposed to be running to a meeting...that I do not want to go to...so oops...patient ran long...*ahem*

RAR is an onomatopoeic sort of "word". I think it started out as "roar"...like I'm MAD here is a roar...and in Ireland if someone is hollering and making a big to do about something rather loudly, they are "Roaring". My grandparents are straight off the boat from Ireland and I grew up hearing that...as in "Oh your granddad stubbed his toe and he roared and cursed"...But since I was raised in the South ROAR sounds like "RAR"...AND once when I "RAR'd" about something I was asked "How does one spell that?" So I spelled it RAR!

does that makes sense? Instead of saying I'm annoyed I'll say "rar"...my mom doesn't swear, she actually says "Well CUSS WORDS".

Lots of random southern things that are probably in my own family and nowhere else. Irish-isms, mashed up with Southern-isms...makes for my very own language!

wow...I so just got called out over the intercom!!!:lmao:

"MissCammie...we are WAAAAAIIITTTIIIINNNNGGGGG"

:headache:

guess I better scoot before I get into trouble.

thanks for reading everyone.

Sorry about the Raisin Bran on your keyboard Tink-ing!!!!

Thanks for another great chapter........those kids are great!!

I agree with Sally........but don't HATE Stitch........HATE his ride :)

another great chapter...i can't wait to read about the rest of the day. we are going to the world for thanksgiving, and just reading your TR gets me even more excited!!! your writing style is truly amazing!

Great update.......will be waiting for more.
I don't like the stich ride, so since my boys are always asking "is this ride fast, or dark, or go down hills" when we came across the Sitch ride I said "lets go on this, its fast and dark all together" and unfortunitley neither one wanted to go on it :thumbsup2

Well, obviously Sally girl should be very lucky she doesn't have an older brother who is the king of bathroom humor...or pray that she doesn't wind up married to the grand emperor of bathroom humor. Seriously, that phrase coming out of that child was hysterical.

BTW, my brothers and I used to say Rar too. Don't know why...guess it was just a bizarre sounding roar so we adopted it.

Keep it coming! :)

Miss Cammie,

This is one of the best TR i have ever read. I laugh, I cry, I yell about the parents who need to read the idiots guide to parenting. Thank you for entertaining me. From one Stepmom or as my dsd would say smommy you are doing a great job with those kids. Hugs go out to you and jay and those adorable lil munchkins, I have endured many a custody battle having 5 stepkids.

Super TR Miss Cammie. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is filled with extremely funny and touching moments and has made my day. I think you are doing a fabulous job with the kids and I love your parenting style. I too think kid these days get away with too much and simply don't understand the concepts of manners and bounderies. It's refreshing to find someone that is happy to teach their kids those things from a young age.

I can't wait to read the rest of this report and I hope all goes well with the custody stuff. I know it's taking its toll on all you.

Hooray, I'm finally caught up -- MissCammie you have very nearly gotten me into trouble at work -- I nearly spit pepsi all over my monitor and not half a minute later I was nearly blubbering on my keyboard. Can't wait to read more ... but I may have to do it at home!

i just found your report and I have to say i am really enjoying it!

I, too, am a WICKED step mother and i use it to my advantage whenever possible!!

The story about the little girl and the paintbrush made me tear up... :sad1: You should be so proud of Sally!!! She's a keeper! The story of the sparlky sisters made me :furious:

Keep up the trip report and the pics -- i am loving it!

I haven't posted since page 8.....I'm on pg 20 now and couldn't wait......

Miss Cammie......you are the best::yes::

I am so moved by your trip report....your writing is awesome...
Can't wait to finish.

thanks so much for sharing
Kerri

Just checking in to see how you all are doing and looking for an update when you get a free moment:)

I just read pt. 12 of your trip report, and was just a rollin' around laughin' !! You poor thang with the icky smells, then to have to sit through Stitch (I havent had the pleasure, nor do I want that pleasure), must have been such a "fun" time for you!! I just have to say how much I loved this part, it was great as usual!!!
