A Daily Lesson in Parenting and Manners: A TR by a real life Wicked Stepmom!

Wow you met Sam Champion??? Awesome! Pathetic parenting. I am seeing more and more of it. (Today we went to a local festival with lots of vendors and booths. One of which was a bean toss game. I saw a father calling his son who was completing ignoring him and touching everything. He actually walked thru the beanbag toss game just so he could touch the back board. Meanwhile the dad keeps saying his name over and over again with no response or control. Ugggg  I said under my breath....if you are going to take kids out you gotta be able to control them. :faint: OK sorry for complaining on your trippie. :worried: ) That was so nice of Teddy to cheer the little boy up! ::yes::
I have to say that Sally likes all the same movies we like here. :lovestruc

Loved the update! Can't wait for more! :cool1:

A Miss Cammie update and Star Wars and Star Trek references too! :thumbsup2 Just what I needed at the end of a long day filled with DH trying to build the bizillion dollar wooden swingset/fort thing we bought for dd on our so not level backyard. Since this TR is winding to a close, I am so glad you have a trip coming so you can start a pre-trippie! (hint-hint) We wouldn't want to have to go without our Miss Cammie, Sally, Teddy and Jay fix for too long! BTW - it is sweltering hot here in PA too. Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

Tribbles ... :lmao:

Just wanted you to know I was still hangin' round ... :rolleyes1

BENDY!!!! :cool1: so glad you caught the Tribble reference! I so thought of you the other day when my mom actually mentioned that she found Pinky my Tribble in my old toy box!:lmao:

Your mother still has your old toy box, with toys in it??!!!?? That is pretty cool!!!

You were so sweet to make that poor little boy feel better!!!

And, trip report installments can never be too long!

Ok, I see dear Heather updated her trip report, so I'm off to read it now!

Aw! That poor little guy being made to ride with a sick tummy. How sad. And how pathetic was his own mother being?! Ack! Can't wait to read more about your MGM adventures. :)

I think this was your longest installment yet and I loved every word of it!!

You have Minnie dot flip flops? How cool is that?!

I like pink and gray together, too. It reminds me of some shoes I had in the 80's! :thumbsup2 I'm serious, I really do like the colors together and I am not mocking you at all. ;)

Although I don't know who Sam Champion is, you made me want to find out! :rotfl:

I know someone else who updated her TR just this morning. :rolleyes1

ETA: I see you commented on Teresa's TR this morning. You like her best! :snooty:

Finally! An actually really real picture of Miss Cammie! Wow you sure are perty , Miss Cammie! I love your cute swingy red sundress! You CambellScots sure are a nice looking family! :) Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip! I am actually feeling sad that it is almost over - but excited at the same time to hear about the upcoming trip in August! :cool1: Hope you are having a great weekend!

Yay! A picture of Miss Cammie. Maaaan, you ARE white! :lmao: Don't feel bad, this is coming from a Puerto Rican who looks light yellow without a tan. :rotfl:

I'm soooo sad we are coming to the end of your trip report...but we will get a pre, during and after trip report come August, right????

Thanks for the gratuitous eye candy of my 2nd bf Sam Champion!!! ( he comes after wpvi's Adam Joseph-he's numero uno!!!)

Hope your cute little family is surviving the heat wave we're all getting! Stay inside and drink lots o' water!!!:beach: :drinking1

"now if Teddy could only stay out of trouble" . . .

Miss Cammie - I could never stay out of trouble either when I was Teddy's age - or Sally's age - or in my teens -but I'm 60 now, and I turned out ok. (My son was the same way, and at 42, he's ok, too) Have faith! This time, too, shall pass. With you and your husband guiding him, in the long run, Teddy will turn out to be a good man.

I've only read two portions of your trip report, but I have a question. What kind of issues does one have when raised in the back woods of Upstate NY? As a local, I'd love to be educated on this. :goodvibes

:lmao: :rotfl2: Oh girl...you make me laugh!!! I love you both the same!::yes:: I get confused going between reports...you must forgive me...I have directional problems. Much. AND I don't know my left from my right. Seriously. It's bad.

You will not be unhappy if you google Sam Champion. Oh my word he is a handsome man!!!

I wasn't kidding was I?! And THAT is with my airbrush tan that I'm not even going ADMIT how much I paid for it...of course that was a few days in and it was starting to fade. I purchased SIX tans for this summer so I'm going to be BRONZE...and hopefully not scary like the lady from There's Something About Mary!:rotfl2:

I'm an Irish girl...gotta work with what I got!

Isn't Sam Champion DIVINE? I just love him. Especially after meeting him. He could not have been any more gracious and friendly. I wanted to sit at his feet and bat my eyelashes at him for the rest of the day!

:flower3:

kidding!!!

sort of...;)

:rotfl2:

I just love to tease my husband b/c he teases ME about Texas and the way I say words when HE pronounces elementary "El-e-men-TARRY" as opposed to "El-e-men-tree"...or Campbell...which is Camp Bell where he is from...no silent P for the upstaters!

I tease b/c I love!!!

I do so hope I didn't offend you terribly. I only meant to offend my husband!

::yes::

YES I was proud of Teddy...he's such a friendly boy! He will walk into a room full of strangers and leave with a room full of friends! Now if he could just stay out of trouble he'd be PERFECT! ;)

As the mother of a nine year old "Teddy" (actaully Todd but close enough). The great personality and unfortunate ability for trouble go hand in hand. ;).

I just mentioned to a friend that MGM sells a Indiana Jones whip and my son overhead. His eyes light up like the fourth of july. The next words "And Shelby could (his older sis)..." :faint: I cut him off right there while visions of Lala's Indiana Jones post went though my mind. It's just something about little boys with great big imaginations.

Hurricane Teddy indeed!

I live with Hurricane Teddy every day!

Hurricane Sally would probably be nothing more than a polite rain storm!

:cutie:

From the sounds of your kids Hurricane Sally would have a lot of dark clouds that look like they are going to break loose and pour, and just when you think it's gonna hit, the sun peaks through and gives everyone a break. (except for that one little rogue cloud that rains on all the smokers and rule breakers!!) ;)

Wow, you have one heck of a memory!!! That was long and very detailed!!! :)

Alot of mom bashing though......I would leave that part out of your next trip report because someday the kids might like to read these to remember the trip, and I'm sure they don't want to read how rotten their mother is. Because no matter how rotten she is according to you, she is still their mother and I'm sure they love her and don't want to read anything bad about her. JMHO.
