Not sure how to begin one of these things so here we go. I left work around 2 pm the day before as I had so much to do and was panicking as to how I was going to get everything done
. I needed the interior of the house painted and the only way that was happening if the pugs
were elsewhere. Since they were going to my moms for the week I had arranged for the painters to come the week I was away. So not only did I have to pack for my trip and for the pugs to go to Grandmas, that also meant I had to pack the house up so they could do their job. It seemed like a good idea 2 months ago when I called the painters, now I am thinking what an idiot I am for putting this stress on myself
. So now at nearly 11 pm, everything and everyone is packed, have confirmed with Mom what time she is picking the boys up tomorrow and the alarm is set for 3:45 AM, yikes. I am worried that I wont get up in time so I also set the TV alarm. A little OCD showing here. At 1 am I hear one of the pugs get up, I realize it is my rescue one. This is the dog that if you set the Hiroshima bomb under him he still wouldnt wake up, so why is he up now??? I then hear him getting a drink of water. ARGH, of all nights to not sleep he chooses the one where I have to be up at 3:45. This is not good.
3:45 rolls around and thank goodness for alarm clocks, it wakes everyone up, though not all are happy. I would normally just put them in the yard to do their business but I couldnt risk my little one barking at 4 am and ticking the neighbors off. See if a plane flies over head he will try to chase it , barking the whole time. I never claimed the pugs were smart. I get the leashes out and we are all set except for the one who was thirsty a few hours earlier. He is still in bed and not budging. Not only is he the laziest creature but also the gentlest. However, if you could have seen the look he was giving me right now, no one would think he was gentle. Heck even I was thinking that if I didnt know this dog I would be worried. I have never seen such a look as the one he is giving me. This is one ticked off dog, now he knows how I felt a couple of hours ago. Finally we are off and they all do their business and get fed. I finally can take a shower and get my butt out of here.
