A couple of random questions - fireworks and food

I just have a couple of questions.

1) I had read that all the fireworks are shot off from Toon Town now. Does this mean that they do not close the area by the carousel anymore and that one could watch from there now?

2) I want to eat at Rancho del Zocalo, but I have picky eaters that will not eat beans. Are the bean and cheese burritos (kids meal) pre-made, or could I request cheese only?

Thanks!!!

1. No. That area is blocked off slightly before, during, and a little after the fireworks for safety.

2. I do not eat beans. I LOVE Rancho del Zocalo. I usually get a burrito. I kindly ask if I could get it made special and then tell them what I would like in it. They make it for me every time. :) Enjoy!

I believe ToonTown closes at about 8:30? on fireworks show night. Fantasyland is also roped off before the show starts. And I don't think the food at "Rancho" is pre-made so you can probably ask for no beans.

Sorry Disney Dreams, I basically just repeated everything you had said pirate:.

Just a thought -- you can buy a kids meal somewhere else (like chicken nuggets at Stage Door Cafe close by) and bring that in to Rancho. We have done that before.....

Thank you for the info. Disney Dreams, it's good to hear that they will adjust it. We have gone the route of buying in multiple places for one meal, but I am trying to avoid that as much as possible. I am already planning on doing that in DCA so I can get some chili in a bread bowl (Yum!!!) DS is branching out some, but DD won't budge. I think a tortilla will be a nice change for her from her usual mac/cheese. I had read of people sitting by the carousel in FL to watch the fireworks (before Remember...), so I was hoping that it would be opened back up with the Magical, but I guess not. We'll still stand back there though because it is so cool to have Tink fly directly overhead.

Can you still see Dumbo or Tink from Villagehause?

Yes, you can see Tink (this was during the Wishes fireworks so I don't know about Dumbo).
While these are horrible quality pics, you get an idea of the vantage point from Village Haus:

The green blur is Tink!
