Hi everyone!

A friend of mine is off to DLRP for the first time on Monday:banana: :yay:

She has asked me a couple of questions and I'm a wee bit stuck but I'm sure you guys can help me out!:thumbsup2

What are the prices like over there for petrol???

And is there kettles in the Cheyenne Hotel??? I'm thinking no but since I'm a Santa Fe kinda girl I might be wrong:rotfl:

Thank you so much for any help!! xx

Here are the petrol prices from Auchen supermarket site :goodvibes

Petrol prices 07/03/2008 :
Lead Free 98 €1.399 about 108p per litre
Lead Free 95 €1.364 about 105p per litre
GPL €0.709 about 55p per litre
Diesel Oil €1.229 about 95p per litre

As for the kettles - not one in the room but you can hire one from reception for a deposit. There is a limited supply of these :) You can also but tea and coffe baskets - it would probably be cheaper for your friend to take her own or even buy from the Esso garage :)

No kettles in Cheyenne , i can't help you with the price for petrol in France but in Italy both petrol and diesel are nearly 1 euro 40 cents for a litre :scared1:

Thank you so much for the quick responses!!!:thumbsup2

She did come on here but didn't know where to start!!!:rotfl: Bless, but I bet once they get back she will be on here all the time!!;)

You can get a kettle in the reception in the Hotel Cheyenne with a returnable deposit :)

We're in the beginnig stages of planning a trip to Paris and Disneyland Paris. Naturally, the first place I'd look for info is here on the DIS boards. :) Would someone be so kind as to tell me what a kettle is, and what it's purpose is? :confused3

Thanks! :flower3:

Hi Deb T and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Many will enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in their room so will be looking for a kettle to boil water in :)

Oh boy, do I feel silly now! Of course, a TEA kettle! I'm so used to heating up cups of water in a microwave for tea that I didn't even think about that! :upsidedow I promise to ask more intelligent questions in the future! :rolleyes1

Staye in Cheyenne last week and there was a kettle in both our rooms when we arrived. No cups or spoons though, just kettle!!

Thank you everyone for the info, I have copied and pasted all the info to her on her bebo!!:rotfl:

Deb T...that gave me a wee giggle..thank you:love: Do they call them something else where you come from?

I think I'm right in saying that most Americans don't use/have electric kettles and the kettles they use are the type placed on a stovetop or hob. My apologies if I am wrong. :flower3:

When we've stayed at hotels in Florida we've never had a kettle, we had to heat the water for hot drinks in either the microwave or the coffeemaker.
