I'm idly looking around for journeys to DLRP next April.
My local airports fares are online - and they are about double what I've usually paid for them :scared1: ! I think the main difference is, this time we want to travel home on a Sunday, rather than on a weekday.

I can get an early morning train from Nottingham to St Pancras, then catch the Eurostar from there. Now, this would be really exciting for my DD, as she hardly ever gets on a train, and we'd be stepping off the train and into the Magic :lovestruc .

My Nottingham train arrives at St Pancras domestic, and obviously the Eurostar leaves from St Pancras international. How close are these? How do you get from one to the other?

Also, how cheap are the cheapest fares on the Eurostar between St Pancras and DLRP :confused3 ? Can anyone give me an idea? We're more than 6 months away at the moment, so I don't think I can phone Eurostar to get prices yet.

Not sure on your other questions Elaine but i know the cheapest fares from Eurostar are £29.50 each way if your very lucky.

Right as far as I know St Pancres domestic and international are the same station and you will just have to walk from your arrival platform to the eurostar check in desk

I have booked a direct return (no changing trains!) to DLP at the end of Jan for 2 adults and 2 children and it cost £250 for the cheapest non flexible fare.

Hope this helps.

I take the train from Bedford and sometime get off at St Pancras (I love being on the train home when the DLP crowd get on!). It is dead easy.

The train line from Nottingham ends in London St Pancras. You walk a few hundred yards, go down an escalator or lift, pass 6 shops and Eurostar checkin is to the left.

Brilliant guys, thanks for all that info. Better mark my diary to phone Eurostar on 23rd October then :thumbsup2
