How does the QSDP work at Pepper Market with the 10% charge.

Do you redeem your QS credits and then pay for the 10% charge out of pocket?

Is this a QS location that we would need/want to leave a tip?

Thank you DISfriends!:dance3:

Does QSDP work differently than DDP? I've never done quick service, but on the regular dining plan, the 10% is not automatically added. You would leave your tip separately, cash on the table or plastic at the register. And yes, this is a place you would want/need to leave a gratuity (though this isn't the proper section for that discussion, nor would everyone agree with me ;)).
I thought the food, as well as the service, was great here! Are you staying at CSR? Enjoy!

KJay -- the DDP comes with 1 TS, 1 QS and 1 Snack nightly. Redeeming a meal credit at the Pepper Market takes a QS off your meal plan.

When we ate there (10 day trip at CSR), we were never charged the 10% on our bill or as we paid on our way out. However, we did leave a cash tip on the table every time.

No tips for the times we took our food "to go" and ate at the tables by the lake though.

Loved the food! Have a great trip!

This is what we did as well.:thumbsup2

We were on the dining plan last Sept. and were never charged the gratuity.

we ate there in November (and so NOT impressed with food or service.) The bill plainly states there is a 10% gratuity and it is not included on the dining plan.

Both the hostess who seated us and the cashier as we left made a BIG point of telling us we needed to pay separately for the gratuity. The cashier even told us how she gets cursed for reminding people, even in Spanish (which she understands) She said a lot of people on the dining plan ignore the gratuity
