and I saw Bruce Wilus (?) hosting David Letterman and notices in the background was a big piece of clear plastic coving the fake window

Not sure about the window thing Bambii, but I did see where Bruce Willis was hosting for a couple nights because Letterman was out with some kind of eye infection. . . they didn't make it sound like it was anything serious though.

I understand David Letterman has Shingles. He'll be out for a few weeks.

My dad had that and it pretty much was the worst thing he had in his life.
