1) It looks like you can not make modifications like no cheese (on a burger or sandwich) or no whip cream (on a churro or other desert) due to dairy allergies in mobile ordering. Is that possible if you order in person?

2) I read on another thread mobile ordering can NOT be charged to DLH room charge, but you CAN upload a giftcard to your account and pay for mobile orders with that? Do I have that right?

3) I assumed dole whip soft serve was ice cream, but the Internet is telling me not only is it dairy free, but artificial color free?! 🤯 Is that accurate?

4) Are there other dairy free deserts that look fantastic I should have on my radar for a treat obsessed little boy with a dairy allergy? (BAKED in dairy and butter are ok, but whipped cream is not). I tried searching the Internet for allergy minded sites' tips, but it was all muddled with WDW/other allergies or dated or just not very fun looking stuff. Such a bummer the in park ice cream parlors don't offer any non dairy ice cream 🥺 [Love you, Salt & Straw!]

2. You can use gift cards for mobile ordering. You need to input the card numbers each time you do an order. Many people just have the number saved somewhere on their phone so they can do a quick cut and paste.

3. Dole whip is dairy free. I’m not sure about the artificial colors part.

4. Ghirardelli in DCA now offers a non-dairy hot fudge sundae. My son and his wife have tried it and pronounced it pretty good.

Thanks! Where are these sold?
That’s near Incredicoaster on the bridge. The frozen lemonade (the frozen-solid one from carts and the slushy one from some locations) also used to be dairy-free. Hopefully they still are! I’ve heard the popcorn is but haven’t tried it.
If you can find macarons (there used to be some at Jolly Holiday), they might be dairy-free. The buffets like Goofy’s used to have packaged desserts like brownies that were gluten-free and dairy-free, but my information on that is from before the pandemic.
The new sundae option sounds awesome - I can’t wait to come back and try that!
OP, if you could please post an update after you’ve been, that would be great!

Thanks! I didn’t realize the Adorable Snoman was a place - I thought it was a menu item 🤣

My son is newly on a dairy-free diet. We are having a hard time eating out. Can anyone share their experience being dairy-free at Disney World? I see a lot of plant-based meals on menus, should I stick to those restaurants or will every restaurant cater to a dairy-free diet?

We have never had a problem eating at WDW or DL on a diet that has no dairy.
