A couple of Dolphin Questions?

Because I can get the teachers discount for the first week of June I think we are staying at Dolphin. Still wavering between Dolphin and POR. My question is how far in advance do I make reservations with Dolphin? I am worried about making them now in case we have snow days this winter, we would not be out as early in the summer and have to change the reservation. How much do I lose if I have to change or cancel reservation. Do they only have a certain number of rooms that they give out with the discount?

I just booked through Dreams Unlimited. They will charge your credit card one nights rate. If you cancel at least 7 days prior to your arrival, you get a full refund. If you cancel within the last 7 days you will lose the one nights rate.

I would book the Doplhin now with the teacher's discount (there is limited availability from what I was told.) If you book directly through Starwood, they charge a 1 night deposit, but will refund your account quickly if you cancel the reservation.
