Hi, we are DVC members staying at the cabins for the first time. Are there DVD players in the living room and bedroom?? Everysite I look on says VCR, but the passporter says DVD player?

Also is there anywhere to rent DVD's at the campground?

Thanks in advance, we are very excited about this trip!

Hi!
There is a DVD player in the living room, I am not sure about the bedroom though. I don't think so, but I can't be 100% sure since we didn't use that TV at all.
And I don't know about renting DVDs either, sorry!

There is a VCR/DVD combo in the living room; and you can rent both types of movies at the Meadows Trading Post.

I can confirm (because I just checked on my last visit) that there are DVD's and VHS tapes available for rent at the Meadow Trading Post. The rentals are $5 per night. They have a notebook at the cash register with the available movies listed. I would say that there were maybe 75 to 100 titles. All of them are Disney movies (go figure), but these include some PG-13 and even a few R rated movies (from Miramax or one of those divisions). They had just about every Disney movie you can think of there.

OK, I will have to correct my statement:

They have just about every Disney movie you can think of there (except if you are clkelley).

;)

There, now that's an accurate statement.

BTW- I have never seen Song of the South. I really would like to some day, since there is a big attraction at the MK based on it.

My mom found us copies (bootleg) of the movie at a state fair. It was one of her favorite movies growing up. We searched high and low throughout the parks during our first trip in 2000. All the CMs were clueless. We later learned about the ban.
