I have a few things that are new for me this trip and need the experts to help me out.

1. I made a reservation for two people for Oga's. It shows in my app. I am actually having my husband and my friend's husband use this reservation. Do they just need the confirmation number? Should I call and have it moved to his account? It doesn't seem to let me add names for the other guests to have it show in both of our accounts? Should I have him logged in as me on his phone? My husband and I have never split up before so this is new for me.

2. Part 1 above is a surprise for the guys because the rest of us (2 women, 4 teen girls) are shopping at DTD the morning before Oogie Boogie. We are surprising them with tickets to the park and the Oga's reservation as they both love Star Wars. Should I just let them use their tickets old school (scan tickets at gate and if they want to FP anything outside of SWGE they can use the paper tickets? Should I put the tickets in the app under each of their names? Does how I handle #1 mean anything for how I handle #2?

And yes - I am also a huge Star Wars fan and am slightly bummed he will get to experience this without me - but we have plans to back in January so its much more manageable!

Does your husband have his own Disneyland account (it seems like he does)? Are you adverse to sharing your account access with him?

I've always just given my name at check-in for a reservation. I haven't needed the confirmation number, but it probably doesn't hurt to have it just in case. I haven't been asked for an ID to verify the name or anything like that. I don't know if they can readily change reservation information, but if they can and they move it to his Disneyland account, he'll be able to see it if he logs into his account. That might give away the surprise...

It might be a little more work, but I would probably give them the paper tickets to use at the gate (again, to make sure it's a surprise) and then they can scan the ticket(s) into their Disneyland account once they've gone into the parks. Unless they're buying MaxPass, they'll need the cardstock ticket to get FPs anyway. You can scan tickets into multiple accounts, but in this case, I'm not sure there is a huge need to have the ticket in both your account and his.

Thank you. I’ll just give them the tickets and the time of the reservation. I doubt they will add maxpass for a few hours but I’ll let them decide.
